except she has written songs and produced as well. educate yourself before you talk out of the side of your neck and spew your ignorance.

Some of you dicks on here think its easy to be the worlds biggest celebrity and have a public meltdown. No one is any position to judge.

I think it's great to see her back in prime form after seeing what was one of the hardest falls from grace to watch that I can ever remember. I think she'll be great as a judge on "X Factor"

Although she's smiling it looks like underneath she wants to cry. I don't understand why she is doing the X-Factor, which is basically a glorified singing competition with emphasis on the 'singing' part.

Why? Can yo say $15 million dollars? I think that's enough reason for most folks.

it is beneath her to do it

I don't think $15 million is beneath anybody...and being a judge on a talent show sure didn't hurt J-Lo. I think it was a savvy career move on Britney's management's part. This will give America a chance to see the rehabilitated back-to-normal Britney, looking amazing, not to mention give Britney a platform, as"Idol" has has been for J-Lo, to debut new music and perform in front of a TV audience of millions.

I still don't get why that has anything to do with anything...nobody has ever thought Britney wrote her own shit, she is not a song-writer...so who gives a fuck?

Lots of great artists, huge successes, namely Whitney Houston, never wrote their own material.

I don't think that's fair to discredit people who don't write their own music. I watched an interview with Kelly Clarkson recently who summed up what I think pretty nicely. It's not really about "do you write your own music," it's more about what you're able to do to transform what might be a bland song into something lively and attention-grabbing, whether through vocals or production. Britney may not be a technically proficient singer, but she's capable of emoting well with her voice when she wants to.

Not to mention the fact that Britney has sold multi-millions of records worldwide, not to mention millions of concert tickets to become a world-class superstar. At the end of the day THAT is all that matters in the music business.

Yes, that's not a genuine "Duchenne" smile.

if she was so good vocally she wouldn't have to lip sync, still, i see no talent, just another pretty face they found, threw some already written songs at and made famous. shes just a money maker in my opinion, was never anything extraordinary

It always cracks me up when someone tries to say an artist who is a multi-million dollar empire has "no talent". Really? "She's just a pretty face they found, threw some already written songs at and made famous"? Man, are you ever clueless as to what it takes to make it in the world of pop music. "Pretty faces" are a dime a dozen. If it were that easy to apply those pretty faces to a hot song and have a smash hit, they'd all be doing it. Britney Spears creates images on video and in concert through her dance and music with the help of great choreographers, top notch film-makers, stylists, songwriters, etc. At the end of the day, it's up to Britney to either pull it off, or fall flat on her face. Say what you want about the lip-synching, the auto-tuned vocals, songs she didn't write, whatever, but it's STILL up to Britney -- front & center -- to pull it all off. She is the one who carries the brunt of the pressure on her shoulders to make it all work in the end. To say she has "no talent" is ludicrous. Not everybody can do what she does, not to mention make millions of dollars doing it while entertaining millions of fans. She is what she is. No, she's not Barbra Streisand or Celine Dion, but she's her own special brand of pop, and she has been a big success doing what she does from the very first single.

LOL i read the first two sentences of that. your opinion is nice, but not worth of my time. If you can dance like a slut, and look like a slut, which she does well, than you can make it big in the pop industry.

If that's what it takes, then do it!

Also, if you're going to try and make a rational response back, at least use "then" rather than using "than" because it makes a big ass difference, honey.

That's why its called the entertainment industry, as good as Adele sings, I wouldn't pay to watch her perform in person... that is unless she battles that ninja from her rolling in the deep vid on stage!

well okay she can sing, but after long concerts her voice gets tired, as normal, but she works hard, and deserves everything good that happens to her

It is good to see britney back and very cute. But to be honest britney cannot sing but her music is good. Britney and Rihanna are in the same category beautiful but mildly talented but Britney can dance a little bi
    t.

Not writing your own music does not make you less of an artist. Some people are singers and some are song writers and some both. Singing is an art not everybody can do it great
