She said "everyone is probably gonna be in shape and looking good and I'm gonna look like a hippo" I just looked at her, shrugged and said to myself "that wouldn't be me....I would go to that reunion just as fat and as jolly as can be" hahahaha

I have an aunt who looks like a cross between Liz Taylor, Joan Collins and Fran Drescher - a very arresting look. You could meet her today at 77 and be able to instantly pick her out of 75 year old photos. I'm not as distinctive as her but I'm often told I've hardly changed in 30 years, as these two photos can attest. Yeah they're blurry but I'm often told pics don't do me justice.

When I was 36, people thought I was 26. Now, they think I am only 5 years younger. Working in a sector full of 20 and 30 year olds, looking young and playing the part is very important. I have been contemplating a Juviderm injection under my eyes, but feel it's kind of vain. We'll see.

I've been told that I have gotten a lot better looking as I've aged and I definitely get attention from both genders (the salt & pepper look seems to go over well). Good teeth, a good smile and staying fit definitely help. A Eurasian background also helps out,

Growing older sucks, but it beats the alternative.

The next time the Fuller Brush Man comes to your door, grab him and then make mad passionate love. Afterwards, buy the softest brush he has. Then, next time your in the shower use it on your face with some glycerine soap. It will give you the cheapest facial you will ever have. The next time the Fuller Brush Man comes to your door give him a reward.

    Stay out of the sun
    drink chlorophyll everyday
    Dont drink, smoke, over eat
Do not dye your hair if you're over 40, it just looks sad and makes you look older
keep your hair short when it goes grey
Use chammomile tea bags to reduce puffyness around the eyes
    Workout
Lots of antioxidants in your diet,
im looking for an old pic to post, as people say I look the same as always. (not first thing in the morning though lol)

School reunions are hilarious all the hot guys from school are now fat and old, even the gay ones have managed to age badly. and the girls who spent hours in the sun watching their boyfriends surf are now very very wrinkly

    Think this
In your 20's wear what ever you want
    30's Gucci, Prada
    40's and beyond Armani

if not stay stylish rather than fashionable, know what works for your body and dont be one of those sad queens in their 50's dressing like a 20 yo go go dancer.

I think I look my age or older, the only redeeming factor I got is probably my hair-genes. My dad didn't get a bald-spot until a couple of years ago, at about 62-63; and even then he has quite a lot of hair left, so I'm hoping my hair will stay where it is until then as well.

Actually this can be a side effect of a genetic condition I thankfully have a minor version of, called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Essentially, I produce a particularly elastic variant of collagen that leads to soft skin. The upshot is that I sometimes bruise a bit (especially when I don't consume enough protein), but I won't age nearly as rapidly as most people. I also have hypermobile joints, which can be a fun party trick as well.

In more severe cases it becomes less amusing rapidly, since arterial walls become too thin and aneurisms emerge.

When you go to a high school reunion 30years later.... and you can't recognize anybody but they all recognize you.... You've done something right. I like this site because most of you guys take care of yourselves and share the stories. All the above things that have been mentioned are right on..... But I may argue with the genes thing. Unless you say there are genetic habits passed down through families. If you're parents and their parents were heavy eaters and drinkers you would probably turn out the same. If their habits are sitting around all the time complaining about things .... again you would probably turn out the same. A lot of this is acquired. If you're parents were active then you will probably be active. The real change comes from when the parents break up. Usually guys will start to find themselves in their own way... and right now one of the more popular is health and fitness. This is more so than ever before in history. The only downer to all this is that we are increasing the toxicity of our environment. If we can get that under control, we can live long and healthy lives without too much aging.

Sunscreen is MOST important. All my daytime face lotions have SPF/UVA/UVB/etcetc. I've not started any Retin A specific products as I've read some research that suggests you're better off consuming plenty of Vitamin A, K and carotene rich foods. You know, like sweet taters.
