Be happy you're not from some states out west where bib overalls are haute couture!

I had Guess bib overalls once.

That was during those 6 months we didn't speak, right?

It was 1989. Were you out of diapers then?

Budweiser?! Really?! That's the one beer I find completely undrinkable. Even a group of the straightest, most rugged men I know refer to is as "rot gut". Wow, impressive, man.

Alcohol is so much cheaper in the States. As are coldcuts. And cheese. And almost everything else...

    So... Shaun:

Are you going to come out to your family and tell them that you bought beer?

Budweiser Cans from a corner store at that.

I hope your Mom is not devastated by this news.
I am sure your Mother accuse your Father and say it is his fault.

Shawn, you may have the boots, but have you had the experience of visiting a Caveders store?
I felt very out of place rolling in there w/ 3 other gay guys a few months back on a trip to Galveston..
    Check it out:

If you're a beer drinker, what are you doing getting Budweiser? icon_twisted.gif

The only American beers I can handle are Sam Adams and Rolling Rock (and the microbrews). Other than that, I'm usually drinking Canadian beer.

I must admit I am kind of glad we can't buy liquor at corner stores. Another reason for the things to be ripped off. Some LCBO stores are really good, with a great selection of wines and hard liquor. I am not a big beer drinker so that is not a draw for me.

In Virginia, we cant buy any hard liquor except at the state beverage control board. Beer and wine can be bought at lots of stores.

Well, in Canada, there are rumours going around the Walmart may be in the process of acquiring the right to sell liquor.

So...yeah, I'd say that's the day we've found something lower than rock bottom.icon_eek.gif
