Imitation of Life. Seriously. You have to get a box of Kleenex and have it close to you by the time the film ends. Even a 6'2" guy like I am is going to be crying by the end of this film. Every time. No matter that I've seen the film a few times in my life. Not just a tear or two - - - wet faced crying.

    Fix You - Coldplay.

'Tears stream, down your face, when you lose something you cannot replace...'

Reminds me of someone I lost a little while ago.

Movie: Field of Dreams. Especially when Kevin Costner meets his dad. Fuck, I'm welling up just thinking about it.

Song: none, really. Worked too close to the music biz to not get totally jaded.

Definitely Field of Dreams. I can't watch that movie without losing it at the end.

Also Lord of the Rings: ROTK - the Grey Havens scene when Frodo hugs Sam - the waterworks go full blast

Not a movie, but the montage at the end of the last episode of Six Feet Under gets me bad

    Movie: The Island

some people may roll their eyes at it, but it makes me so sad to see how they take advantage of their innocence throughout the movie- but the end gets me bad haha.

Song: The Way You Lie- Rihanna (version w/o Eminem)

V for Vendetta - the scene "Valerie's Letter" almost always makes me burst into tears. It's just so beautiful. Especially since it deals with LBGT issues - it strikes me at the very center of my emotional core. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful monologue in all of cinema:

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTav4f0B4uQ

"Our integrity sells for so little, yet it is all we have... it is the very last inch of us, but within that inch, we are free. I shall die here. Every inch of me shall perish... but one. An inch. It is small, and it is fragile, but it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it, or give it away. We must never let them take it from us. I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that even though I don't know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or even kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you."

Also, since I'm so young, the end of Toy Story 3. I grew up with the movies, so to see the love and care that Pixar put into the trilogy so that it could grow up with their audience is just tear-jerking. The end of the Lord of the Rings gets me too.

As for songs, I can never listen to or sing Silent Night without shedding a few tears. I don't need to be religious.

'Titanic' (1997), especially when the ship`s beginning to go bow down and all the lights start to go off; and all underneath that starry night sky!

Not a song, but a documentary a friend gave me recently that he`d help make about the early years of a British university, Keele in Staffordshire. The final section had this melancholy piano music and lots of contributors talking about their time there being the best of their lives. It brought back lots of bitter sweet memories of my own time at university.

As corny as is sounds. I tear up every time I watch Star Trek 2. Spock dying is absolutely heart breaking. Especially after his speech to Kirk.
