Very happy for you! It's a big deal to have your family accept and love you unconditionally. (I've been blessed with the same thing.) Now just relax and realize that the hard part is over, and you can be yourself!
Go have a happy life! icon_biggrin.gif

Congratulations! It's a hard first step to take, but definitely a worthwhile one! It may not seem like it at first, but it gets better from here.

    Congratulations!

My only advice would be to enjoy the sunshine... the closet can be dark and funny smelling. Not to mention that it may have moths.

    These:

    1) Straight people are smarter than they look. icon_wink.gif Don't be surprised if some of your friends are not shocked by your news.

    2) ...and this can be tough when you're feeling nervous and afraid, but... try to present this information in as direct and as matter-of-fact a way as you can. Often times, people will look to your demeanor for cues for how to react. I.E. if you come across as diffident, reluctant, apologetic, they may read it as an admission of being guilty of something. If you seem awkward, they are liable to feel awkward. If you own it, inhabit it, and convey that it's simply part of who you are, they may find it easier to to be chill.

    3) People who really love you and care about you will not kick you to the curb because they find out that you like men. And, in any case, you will be okay regardless of what anyone else chooses to do.

    Keep us posted!
