The House has passed 33 bills to repeal or de-fund Obamacare

The U.S. House of Representatives has now passed 33 bills to partially or completely repeal Obamacare or de-fund all or part of it.

The latest was HR 6079, to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, by Congressman Eric Cantor and 162 cosponsors, which passed on July 11, by a vote of 244 to 185, with 2 not voting.

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy reports that seven anti-Obamacare measures have also passed the Senate and been signed into law, including repeal of the onerous 1099 tax reporting requirement imposed on small businesses.

During the floor debate on HR 6079, Congressman McCarthy said, “Unfortunately, what we’ve learned over the past two and half years is this law has proven to be not only bad policy, but also filled with broken promises… It is time to do away with this broken law.”

HR 6079 is not expected to pass this year but similar legislation may be enacted during the 113th Congress if Republicans win majority control of the Senate and the White House.

HMMMMM !!!! and this supposedly gives them 'bragging rights' among their christian fundi's and TBaggers ?
