    Nice cut indeed these Lululemon.
I bought a pair of black, ordinary shorts at Old Navy icon_redface.gif really cheap but I feel like wearing a potato bag. So I understand the $70 price!

I discovered these a few years ago. Just like regular old fashioned tennis shorts. The right length. Real pockets. Mesh liner. Cheap. Drip-dry micro fabric. No logo.

In fact, I haven't worn anything else since about April.

    What brand are those?

    Yes, where, how much??

hahaha I get my shorts at Walmart or steal my partners. I pay enough money just being at the gym as it is.

I hate nylon shorts. I don't like that slinky feeling.

I have about 12 pairs of coaches shorts in cotton. I paid $3.99 each for them at Athletic Warehouse in Lewisville, TX.

Paying $70 for a pair of shorts seems like a bit much.

Short should be shorts...no capres, or knickers, but..shorts.

Walmart's Starter brand seems o.k. It's not Under Armour, but, not bad.

I work hard to enjoy the nicer things in life- nice home, luxury car, tailored suits, italian shoes, premium denim, lululemon, etc.

CABucky saidI'm in love with the Lululemon Run Response short...

    - Not too short, but not too long
    - Not too baggy, but not too tight
    - boxer brief liner
    - My favorite feature... A THIRD POCKET WITH A ZIPPER!! I've been looking for a good short with one of these for a looong time.

    Anyone else ever tried them?

Lululemon makes excellent and quality clothing. Yes, expensive... but I'll gladly pay a little extra for quality. The trick is to wait until the gets discounted (the "We Made Too Much" section).

Lululemon is actually quite a common brand at my gym- whether it's guys or girls, gay or straight.

leto82 saidNever was a fan of Lululemon. All the other athletic companies always seem to be about one generation further along in fabrics. Best of all that I have found for now is the Nike Combat gear. Everything from the compression shorts to the tees are the best on the market for fit, fabric, and comfort. Nike-Pro-Combat-Core-Compression-6-Mens-

I've worn Nike Combat gear for a few years, & it's durable, except for my compression shorts, which are unravelling at the seams icon_sad.gif
But I'm really impressed with the latest generation of Lululemon stuff for its odor-repelling technology. I can run in the sun all day in them, drench them in sweat, & they don't stink if I have to get into an elevator with someone on my way to a shower. We'll see how they hold up over time.

CABucky saidWell this is a gay forum...

Are you saying that gay men are idiots who are willing to grossly overpay for clothing just because of the label? That's kinda what your comment implies.

I go to the gym to work out. I don't go for the fashion show. Maybe that's just me...

These are on amazon. They're $22. There are similar or identical ones at *cough* #mumble# "undergear" sold as "windsurfer trunk."

Hmm... the customer reviews on amazon aren't good. The ones I got from UG for a few dollars more are sturdy and the sizes are about right - unlike much of the other crap they sell. The ads look identical.
