Alpha13 saidI don't understand why her comeback album and career was pretty much ignored by the music world. That is probably why she moved it to France.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT and she would definitely agree with you. If you ever watch the movie 24 Hour Party People, there's a message in it with regards to communism. Look at Sinead 'O Connor... Hates England.
I really didn't want this thread to be about politics and the original title of this post was not to cause controversy, but rather pay tribute to Siouxsie. What is sad is that these artists were getting discovered in the same club and now you rarely find that people even recognize that.
I was perhaps guilty of a MINOR political statement by including the bands she was discovered with. I forget now the name of the club as I haven't watched it in so long, but it's no wonder Death Rock is nolonger attributed to Siouxsie and The Banshees.
I am very sorry if I provoked the politicsthese bands hate being put in the light of, but unlike you, some people look at these bands as a fucking PRODUCT. Is like butchering sheep.
I've been a poet all my life. I value the artist as an individual rather than as mass marketer.
