    Obama.

TigerTim saidWhat would be more interesting is if people explained what the other candidate could do to get them to vote for them.

IF Romney came out in favor of gay rights, including marriage, I'd consider voting for him....

And during this second term Obama can be bolder having learned that the republicans have no intentions of compromise or cooperation. He should go boldly forward with job programs on infrastructure improvements, fair tax reforms and promote a foreign policy that isn't subservient to another country's lobby over their political contributions and influence. Obama should shame the intransigent republicans for their obstructionist behavior at every turn and not let up for a minute over the next four years.

At this point, Roseanne Barr's peace and love party is looking pretty attractive to me.

I don't like either candidate, quite frankly.

Obama may be charismatic, but I truly believe he lacks the wherewithal and understanding to turn our economy around. He had two years to push through a Democratic agenda but didn't do much more than buy a fleet of clunkers. Appreciate his perspective on most social issues, especially the alleged support for the gays, but sometimes I wonder about it being genuine. He is, after all, a career politician.

Romney is so ignorant on so many social issues it's laughable and sad. That said, I do believe his work experience makes him better suited to helping the country overcome our money problems and lack of jobs, and when I personally prioritize the issues in the country, those are tops for me. I am concerned about his desire to boost military activity.

Would I love to see same-sex marriage soon? Absolutely. The truth is, it's going to happen regardless of the guy in charge. It's going to take further education on the topic on our parts, but at some point gay couples will be able to have the same married rights as the straights.

As for my vote? I probably will just sit this one out. I live in CA, it's going to be blue, so I'd only really vote if I felt strongly about Obama, which I don't.

It's time for a change, the past four years did not work out, time to move on. I recall the liberals here demanding to give Obama a go. Well he got that, and now it's time to move on and Give Mitt a go.

my vote doesn't count, so why bother? the lesser of two evils implies that both are still evil. since when did any administration care about the average american? to them, we are useless eaters.

Many do. That is what happens when you turn politics into a religion.
I think that negative politics can have the same effect on the brain as negative aspects of religion...they both use fear as power. I don't know if the damage can be corrected.

I think that one thing that Republicans and Democrats, and hopefully every other party can agree upon is that we need to reduce the federal debt over time. The question then becomes: what is the best way to do that?

Personally, I think it has to be a balance between the government increasing revenue as well as cutting expenses. It needs to be done in the most humane way possible. Not in a fear based way. Giving the wealthy more tax cuts is not gong to provide more jobs. It will only result in less revenue for the government, which it needs. Cuts in defense spending have to be on the table. I question why we need to keep over 50,000 troops in Germany and another 60,000 troops in Japan/South Korea.

In regards to Obamacare, I don't think it is what anyone wanted, including Obama. However, it is a step in the right direction. I'm thankful that we got at least that. It makes us a more humane nation to its own people. And that is what a government should do. More work needs to be done. We need to be able to have a reasonable discussion without people screaming death panels. There is a lot of waste in medicine for many reasons, many have to do with liability. We need a system that treats everyone fairly without forcing doctors to do unnecessary tests. Procedures should only be performed if there is a decent possibility of getting favorable results.

As a nation, I wish that we had more things to look forward to, as we did when we landed on the moon, or built the Hoover Dam. Together, we can do amazing things. Separate, our future is not so bright.

Britain divested itself of its trappings of empire because it just could not afford it anymore. The US should do the same and allow some form of intercooperative organization (like the Commonwealth) to form of counries that were overly reliant on any single other nation.

The UK also rid itself of empire because it`s continuance would require increasingly repressive policies in the colonies. No democratic government here could justify that. See India, the Mau Mau rebellion in 1950s Kenya.

If I was a US citizen it would be Obama, reluctantly, as the least worst option...One of his better policies is the right of marriage for gay men.

If Romney`s recent visit to the UK is any guide, as president he is a disaster waiting to happen.

you're an idiot because you think obama is a "muslim socialist."

only a right-wing tea-bagger nut-job moron who watches the IQ lowering faux news would ever believe such absurd propaganda.

So, for those who aren't on the nut job ends of the spectrum, who will you vote for Obama or Romney?

ALSO REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU WANT, WHO DO YOU THINK ACTUALLY WILL WIN.

Lastly, Paul Ryan, hot or not?

    I find this very concerning.

Romney will win election, state-by-state study predicts

An analysis from the University of Colorado that has correctly predicted the outcome of presidential elections since 1980 is forecasting Mitt Romney as the winner this year.

The study only considered economic factor, so I don't think it will help predict this election for three reasons. First, race is much more important in this election, and Obama has shown that he can rally black people and take 95% of the black vote. Second economic memory, this time many people will realize that Obama prevented the economy from collapsing. Third youth, Obama swept the votes of young people and more generation Y voters will vote this time.

No surprise from me....I'm voting for President Obama. I care about the direction of the country and care deeply about other Americans.

The Republicans cannot and do not. Plain and simple.
