I've moved north a bit, but Boston is my hometown and no one else is representing...

I love Boston's skyline, but there are a lot of great looking historic buildings in the city that don't stick out. Being such an old city (as far as American cities go), I think its best architecture came before the advent of skyscrapers. Old City Hall, Faneuil Hall, The Christ Scientist's Mother Church, The Massachusetts State House, King's Chapel, The Castle at Boston University to name a few.

Anyway, here are the big phallic symbols everyone seems to love so much:

Living here in Buffalo has been absolutely miserable. The people are offensive, rude and contentious. The amount of openly racist people amazes me. And its now the rudest city in the county. That's why I chose a picture of Belfast as my skyline instead of Buffalo.

Are you on drugsicon_question.gifBuffalo is ten times friendlier than most growing, sunbelt cities. You are either hanging out with the wrong crowds, going into the rough neighborhoods or you just dislike Buffalo. If you want absolutely miserable, you should try Austin, Texas that place is horrendous, expensive, overrated, and extremely unfriendly. As for the media rating Buffalo the rudest city in the country, what a baseless crock of shit. As for openly racist people, they are everywhere in every city, every suburb, and every small town. Go back to Belfast if you hate Buffalo so much.icon_mad.gif

Please ditch that winter photo, it doesn't even look like Buffalo. That looks more like either Oswego, NY or Syracuse, NY. You are just feeding the propaganda that Buffalo is snowbound most of the year. There is much more to our great city than winter weather.

The darker buildings in the lower part of this photo appear to be a vast expanse of deteriorating slums that border on the Central Business District and the port area. The beautiful, green countryside in the distance brings some visual relief in this photo.

Panama City is not so small and humble anymore, what a gorgeous, skyscraper studded, modern city. Awesome modern architecture and a great waterfront. The two large bridges over the Panama Canal are very beautiful, one old and one new. It appears that Panama has done very well since the imperialistic US Government gave the Panama Canal and its right a way to the Republic of Panama.

    Holy hell that's beautiful.

I can't find a picture of our "skyline" anywhere, even though I know there is one in the downtown area, so I'm going to post the next closest thing:

    corn-field.jpg

There you go- over knee high after 4th of July so we may have a decent harvest.
