HottJoe saidInteresting thread. I drink a lot of milk because it's fortified with vitamin D and is a source of protein. I've switched to unsweetened almond milk before to be healthier but my bf hates it. I think we should cut back anyway though. The milk breath-thing IS pretty gross.
BTW: Most milk is fortified with vitamin D2, which is a cheaper form of D and also harder to absorb. There is at least 1 diary that uses D3...I think it is Horizon Organic Dairy.
I prefer soy milk with my cereal. I think it tastes better than cows milk and it does not have that nasty smell.
