Dial-up sound whenever I connected to the internet.
And the internet cutting off whenever I got a phone call.

...Drink pure water from about any (Calif.) stream, lake, or drinking fountain, w/o endangering my health.

...Carry-or-shoot my guns, about anywhere, w/o anyone getting uptight.

The prank phone call reminded me of....

    rotary dial
    party lines
phone numbers were WH6-5555 WH = Wheaton or initials of your town
being able to make your own phone ring when you dialed your number backward!

    YES, I AM OLD!

I learned not to say two things:

About being "a broad" to a man (unless he is a transgendered f --> m) in which case I wouldn't ask anyway.

"When I was a boy" - which makes it seem that person later became a girl.

Getting really hot from mowing the lawn and going over to the garden hose and gulping down the best tasting water known to man. And it didn't even matter that it was hot.

Again, go out side and play. Especially in the empty lot that was across the street from my childhood house. We built bicycle ramps, and swamps. Later when they started to build a house there we used to play in the construction site.
