I've started a cruise there with Atlantis. Saw the Gaudi sites which I loved. But the city itself I wasn't impressed with especially the young gangs running away from police in the streets and bad tapas and dried meats. What else is there to see in the city that will change my mind about Barcelona? Traveling with 2 friends while on a trip from the French Coast nearby.
I forgot to add, I did experience my first dark room in a bar. Forgot which one. But I think it was mainly the cruise guys. Thanks for the input. I'll check into the restaurant.

There is a hot sex club called Open Mind. Check it out, especially Mask Night. They provide the masks! I have never experienced anything like it here in the US. It is very close to the Axel Hotel.

Seek out excellent local restaurants and spend hours soaking in the atmosphere.

Did you go to the beaches? Try renting a bike and ride to Barcelonetta or the gay beach, Mar Bella. It's a very scenic ride especially if the weather is fantastic. There are TONS of hawt menz at Mar Bella.

I wouldn't know about the sex clubs, but D'Boy and Metro Disco were pretty fun.

If you have time go to Stiges. It's a gay sea village about 30-45 mins by train outside the city.

I was just there a week ago in Barcelona. I didn't go to the gay bars, but I did go to some of the straight clubs on the beach. I went to Opium Bar. It was crazy expensive, but we showed up before midnight, so there was no cover. The place got packed about 2AM. I recommend it.

As far as other things to see, I recommend doing the Gaudi museums, some of the cathedrals, and of course las ramblas. Sitges is a beach about 30 minutes south of Barcelona if you have time.

It's a good town and the guys are crazy hot!!! The gay area is large and to the south of Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gracia near the Universitat metro station.

    Have fun!
