So, it has been a while since I posted on here, but I thought that I should bring everyone's attention to a cool gay athlete art project that is almost completely funded on Kickstarter, but is running up against its deadline. Here is the post by the project's coordinator.

"Dear friends, many of you may have seen my posts here about my fundraising drive for my "Fearless" project, a photo and video series on "out" lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) high school and college athletes, that I have been working on for over nine years. I am hoping to get the funding needed to finish this project next year with over 200 athletes photographed and a large photobook commemorating the 10th year of the project.

I apologize by turning this into an "event" but I did need a way to remind everyone that there is a firm deadline, where if we don't reach the goal of $50,000 by Sep 18, then none of the drive is funded (Kickstarter's rules, not mine)."

That gives the project four more days to raise $1,155. I chipped in five bucks, which isn't a lot, but it's something. If you think it's a cool project, maybe think about doing the same.
