    I like this.

Of course, there is no "the one." There are lots of guys out there who could be your "one" depending on desire and circumstances. No one is perfect, you always end up deciding that the one you pick is worthy of your love, time and effort.

^^I know the feel. Slowly got to keep it arms length, especially since there are so many unknowns.

Even if you like someone, someone likes you, not always one in the same? icon_question.gif?icon_confused.gif

What I was saying is that there is no single perfect guy for every person. I.e., don't be so picky when waiting to meet "the One" that you write off all real-world potential partners. The perfect is the enemy of the good.

agree. "true loveism" as a passive religion is seductive to overly sentimental people because it requires no work, only the presence of some magic spell that never wears off. as opposed to picking one of several viable people and sticking it out.

I don't believe in total perfection... Ideal is Good enough for me. I'll wait as long as it takes to get this thing right... sometimes I think I'm misreading signals, you know what I mean?
