I know it's kind of an old threat but just wanted to give my little input.
I think that the majority of the time, muscular guys only go for other muscular guys. Of course, I know it's not fair to generalize and I'm not trying to, I'm just speaking from what I've noticed.

I like muscular guys myself but yeah, you just have to sometimes think realistically... :/ I mean, a lot of guys who become muscular did it for the health reasons and the fact that that is what they are attracted to so it kind of makes sense.

Also, another thing I think about is that maybe it's best to look at the realistic spectrum. I mean, I would suspect that a muscular guy would want his partner to workout the same amount he does if not, more. Speaking for myself, I do normal exercising and trying to add some mass but in no way am I trying to become a big guy. And I don't devote my life to being in the gym 6-10 hours a day. And when it comes down to it, I don't think I'd want to date a guy who seems like he only lives for the gym. I'd much rather be with a guy who works out but does other things too and doesn't spend practically his whole days in the gym. And on the other side, it wouldn't be fair to be with said muscular guy if you won't workout the same, if not more then he does.

    So yeah, that's just me.

I have recently taken a liking to the Stand and Carry and since I am not hugely muscular the skinnier dudes have to suffice for when i am in that mood. Does that count?

I'm a smaller guy and I get plenty of attention from muscular men. I find that the ones who complain have the attitude that "if I go to the gym and pick up a 5lb dumbbell I will grow to be a bodybuilder and I don't want that."

You would be amazed at then difference that 5lbs in muscle can make in the attention you get. Also, if you expect a partner to have dedication to the gym then why would you not hold yourself to the same standard?

Why do you have to pre-judge muscle men? or skinny guys? or "tar everyone with the same brush"?

Most gay men model themselves after what they consider to be sexy, AKA their type.

For instance, I'm a big, burly muscle bear, so I tend to like other big, burly muscle bears.

All joking aside though, fitness level =/= muscliness

Ugh I'm falling into the trap, moral of the story is everyone wants some dick, and they don't always care where it comes from.

There's also big difference between looking at a bunch of shirtless pictures and meeting people in person. I'm not a "muscle man" but I can go for larger or smaller guys. It's all about perspective.

I love muscular guys, or at least guys who are bigger than me. I have found a lot of more muscular guys online who like skinny guys, but unfortunately I haven't had as much luck with that on this site...

No not true, if you're attracted to someone then you're attracted body type won't stop that. I may gravitate toward muscular physiques initially just due to the whole process of physical appearances catching your eye thing. But that only plays out in the initial part of the process, eventually you have to get to know the person and there is a whole lot more important than physique. I will not limit my options based on physique there is a lot more to a person than whether they can bench press x# of lbs.

When I was visiting LA, I met a guy at a club. This guy was probably about 6'2 and 225 of solid muscle. He was only into Asian twinks and he wasn't interested in other muscle guys so no, other muscle guys don't necessarily go for guys that look like them. But I think guys like him are rare to find!
