I don't think that any of this is relevant to being gay. I could care less about this trivial crap I see on a day to day basis. It holds no meaning and it is utterly worthless in the grand scheme of things. I am gay because I like men not because I can recite every major broad way production or because I have seen every episode of The Golden Girls. Who gives a shit. You are portraying the wrong image and telling people that being who they are regardless of who they like is wrong. If you enjoy Madonna and Cher great! If you enjoy Madonna and Cher because you think it is necessary to fit into the societal role that someone told you that you needed to fit into then shame on you. Everyone just wants to be accepted regardless of race, identity, sexual orientation, familial background, and mentality. Putting pressures on other people like this isn't helping anyone. Not even yourself.

Everyone is different. Just because there are guys like me who would rather watch Nascar (Carl Edwards) over some romantic comedy or go hunting rather than have a girls night out at the bar doesn't mean they are wrong. No one should be told what it means to be gay because it is different for every person.

Also it's spelled Homework not homewerq.

Was this essay code for double-handed fisting? Because it sure seems like one. The code is so well interwoven in your clearly ironic, self-aware, comic subversive post! Your IQ must be through the roof.

You should wear a dark red hanky in your back right pocket. You'll be frustrated no more.

    Happy hunting!

All these threads depicting gay men as bitchy women is really tired. Newsflash....it's been done. Even the lame slang words they use has been swallowed and regurgitated for DECADES. "Gurl" is from the fucking 70's and so is "Werqit". If you're naturally feminine, that's totally cool in my book. But these outdated caricatures of the female sex is really sad and reeks of desperation. Are we really that devoid of individuality that we have to be slaves of gay conformity? It's not cute. It's definitely not original. It's just sad. Oh, and by the way....I don't give a flying fuck about Diana fucking Ross. icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh ffs, just lighten up and take the splintered stick from out of your gaping ass. Ya big ol' negative-nelly. Ever the kill-joy.icon_rolleyes.gif

They're playing around and having fun on a youtube video. Let's hold an international debate on the appropriateness of how they represent you. Oh wait, no: BORING AND IRRELEVANT.

What reeks of desperation are guys who feel the need to constantly reaffirm their deemed masculinity by marginalising and denigrating those that occasionally and light-heartedly play around with traditional ideas and norms of how they are supposed to act based on their race/sex/age, for shits and giggs.

Btw, Diana Ross called, she said she doesn't give a flying fuck about you or your damn dogs too! icon_lol.gif

I bet you watch the onion news and find yourself shocked and appalled.

Let me get you some vapours after the other genius above wakes up from his fervent 'disgust' seizure.

Welcome to the forum btw! Remember to take huge doses of salt on a thread by thread basis if you can.

It's be interesting if, I don't know, these videos broke even a little bit of new ground. They don't. It's the same tired stereotypes over and over and over. It's not clever. It's not fresh. It's not different.

Essentially, these videos are the gay version of watching Ashton Kutcher on Punk'd. I remember Punk'd being funny when it first started, but by episode 4, it'd lost it's luster. Yes, Ashton. We got it. He just got Punk'd. It was awesome. These videos are the gay embodiment of that.

This kinda stuff was moderately amusing the first time I saw them, but they're played out. Kinda like Gangham Style. There are only so many times you can laugh at the same terrible outdated stereotypes.

The classics never die (when watched in moderation ;)

But, meh *shrugs* I won't debate somebody over a matter of subjective, personal taste.

Notice I made no comments about your "gapping hole" or other personal insults. I'm beginning to see why you identify with these types.

I made it perfectly clear I had no problem with naturally effeminate guys. I guess you were too eager to think of ways to insult me instead of actually addressing the points I (and many others) brought up. And you sure do like to bring up my love for dogs as if that's some kind of fault. I shouldn't be surprised, knowing how scared Black people are of dogs. <----- Blatant stereotype usage I'm sure you have no problem with right? Or is it just gay people you enjoy seeing stereotyped?

We are tired of gay men being portrayed like this in the media. That is all. If you're a big fucking queen, then good for you. Not all of us are, and not all of us should get this rep.
