yourname2000 saidI accept all comments. I've been 'trolled' before with guys saying some pretty offensive crap....like Ario said, I'm inclined to accept them because their words say more about them than they ever could about me. Usually those guys end up getting deleted, or a few months later I become bored with the comment and will remove it.

What surprises me is when I make a positive comment on a guy's profile and he doesn't accept it....me telling you "you look great" or "nice work on your arms" isn't me crawling up between your legs in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner with your family. icon_rolleyes.gif --It's just a compliment. But I accept that for some guys, I'm just not young/pretty/naked enough for them to allow me to sully their pristine profiles. Meh....whatever....again, it says more about them than it does about me. icon_neutral.gif

I agree with this, even a compliment at the gym is seen as a come-on. I was raised to gracefully say thank you to a compliment with no subtext expected

Very well said! Oh, and by the way, anyone who doesn't accept your comment is an idiot. You are definitely young, pretty and naked enough....well, don't know about naked, but you get my drift.

As long as they make sense and don't involve threats of violence I put them thru. I consider it a compliment and am happy to accept. ESPECIALLY including the sarcastic ones - which are My favorites...ie: ANYthing that Claystation and I have written about one another!!!

jmusmc85 saidJackKash had the nerve to post this gem on my profile, then get mad because I approved it and called him out on it. He still can't explain why he left it!!!

"You know, you have always had some kind of "hate on" for me.. saying asinine shit about here and there, when i leave you alone... when in fact you have some of the dumbest tattoo and tattoo placements ever..and your face may be great when your body falls shorter than what you think it should be and your intelligence is that of door stop grease. You and your snoopy nose and Jersey shore hair and wannabe attitude.. you have no room to be a bitch. Your nose will look like a shriveled up penis when you are 56 years old."

You were right for calling him out on it and bringing to the light. He has always had this conceited like attitude on these forums. And always seemed to shoot me down like I wasn't important or something.

... Now this gives me another reason to not like him. icon_rolleyes.gif

While I agree that the comments say more about the person leaving them than me, I also believe in public decorum. Thus, I've deleted many comments over the years.

They may be the one being gross/nasty/inappropriate, but would just rather not facilitate their...whatever it is that motivates them.

As a matter of policy I reject all photo comments. I mean no disrespect, and I thank everyone who's ever commented on my photos. My profile actually expressly states that I'd prefer if people didn't comment on my photos.

    This.
Imagine if you enter someone's profile and only see nasty comments about that person. It wouldn't be nice for a first impression of someone.

I'd be highly impressed if you could produce a picture anywhere on RJ that had more than one unpleasant comment on it.

I really haven't encountered any negative or out of place comments to be perfectly honest so I let everything in.

I'm new here so I assumed that would be the case with troublesome members. I guess there aren't any of those types here, which is really odd because that's what usually happens in other types of online communities.

Maybe seeing handsome guys all the time makes gays act nicer to each other?

My philosophy is to approve and send a thank you note, except...

Skanky stuff that makes me think, "I wouldn't want to read that anywhere!"

Comments on my AIDS Ride picture that read something like, "For an AIDS victim, you don't look that horrible!"

Comments on pictures that show my body (oops, I think I am a slut), if they say some variant of, "Hey, have you ever heard of shaving that forest?"

Comments about my age, as a variant of, "Wow! At your age, you should look like Grandpa Moses! Instead, you look like Larry King!"

FOR THE LAST TIME! I AM TOO VAIN TO WEAR GLASSES!!!

Two reasons: (i) I don't want to be put in a position where I have to make a judgment call on which comment is worth rejecting and which is worth accepting, so I simply reject all of them on the basis of fairness; and (ii) I don't want this to be a form of competition (I know guys on here who compare the number of comments one receives and then make a value judgment based on that count). I appreciate your interest in my reasoning. Thanks.

We should just stand back and admire them in voiceless awe.

I like to hide outside of their houses and sneak in and try on their clothes while they are at work.
