This is something I always wondered about, if there was a large number of gay couples that had children that are currently teenagers. Does the hate spread to the kids just because the parents are gay? I know the answer is probably obvious, but what about in dealings with schools, doctors etc. where parents are normally involved with their kids' lives? Do those people treat them differently even if the kid is straight? And how do the teens respond to the gay parents? I can imagine them being accepting, but there could be some teens that would be upset with having gay parents especially if it causes them pain.

I specifically ask about teens because they are in that stage where peer pressure, bullying etc. is rampant and having gay parents is obviously an issue in this day and age.

All teens ride the crazy train for a few years. If they are upset with having gay parents it will just be one more thing in a long list that they are pissed off about.

I've raised one teen (now age 24 - thankfully back to a rational human being) and am dealing with another teen right now (15 - just dealing with the crazy is exhausting).

Girls teens get crazy wether your gay or not. Being gay now is cool so it might even be an advantage.
