Desperate Need of Hair Repair

Simply put... my hair is a total mess, and I have no idea where to start! It feels all fuzzy rather than silky, it doesn't shine, and I can't find a stinking hair gel/spray that can keep it in place for more than two hours. After two hours my hair starts to look dry and fuzzy again, and easily begins to loose shape. It's so depressing, especially ranting about my hair out of all things!

May you guys help me out here please? Are there any products you can recommend to fix the above mess, namely for silkiness, shine and a good holding gel/spray? I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Thanks beforehand

Try a styling cream instead of a gel. It will moisturize and add shine.
The best thing you can do is work with your hair and don't try to fight what it wants to do.

Shave it all off... zip, no problems anymore!

Seriously, a couple of points. Let me say I do have dry hair and I have no hair issues. I'd get suggestions from a styling salon and use appropriate shampoos and conditioners. Also you should get input on your current haircut style and see if it is really appropriate for your hair. Some aren't.

Mayonaise or raw eggs. That's all I'm going to say.

I think you should look to the US congress for inspiration:

There could be a ton of reasons why your hair is like that. It could be diet, it could be climate, it could be how often you wash your hair and with what., it could be a combination of a dozen factors.

So, I have no useful advice for you other than floss your teeth.

Have you tried pomade or a styling paste? Just don't use too much or you will get that slick look. About the size of a small lima bean, emulsify it between your hands and apply it to towel dried or dry hair.

I worked in a salon for 3.5 years.. and i've had the same problem..

as far as a hair product goes, redken rough paste is great...

after you style. finish it off with some hair spray.. i love kenra platinum.. the hair sprays smell YUMMY!

I've also noticed that when i flat iron my hair, its less fuzzy.. expensive ones are well worth it as they do less damage to your hair.. I personally use GHD on myself and when i style other people's hair.. i know people who use a chi and that has good results too..

for shampoo recommendations, i'd go with pureology. I love that it is sulfate free (which is intended for color treated hair, but i notice less of my hair falls out with this stuff. maybe this has to do with it?) Plus its vegan. AND its super concentrated, so a little goes a long way (which makes up for the price). AND it FEELS SO GOOD. The conditioner leaves you feeling relaxed yet awake at the same time..

    hope that helps..

Sounds to me that your using the wrong kind of products in your hair
I couldn't get a real good look from your pictures
but if your hair is "fuzzy" a lot of the time you're probably using hair prducts that have alcohol in them
    go to a good salon
get yourself a nice cut that you like and ask them there what will work for you
