calvinh88 saidThis is pretty cool that someone want's a black MOTD lets see if it really happens haha!!!
It's happened before, but I get what you mean.
Right its a rarity on here it's even more sad that most of they guy who are fully black say they are mixed race just to be seen talk about pathetic haha what happen to being proud of who you are (color wise)??
You know of people like that on here? I mean who would lie about their race?
My maternal grandmother is not black. Neither is my paternal great grandfather.
I'm a one-dropper so if you've got any black, you're black..
See I never understood that. Why claim just one race? I hear all the time my black friends say that "if you have black in you then you're black" yet if you say you're mixed then you're a sellout....really? So it's ok to claim black and disown your other races?
I'm White, Black and Native American and have all three living races in my family so I will claim all parts and for anyone to say I'm wrong for not saying I'm "black" is retarded. Also, regardless of how someone may look in their pics, there are no ways to tell if someone is actually mixed or not just by looking at them.
I knew you werent all black the moment I saw the Hoobastank vid in your profile. There is deff some white boy syndrome going on...
but seriosuly, I truly get you. I honestly don't think anyone is completely one race or ethnicity, the world has to many mixed races, immigrants , etc etc etc,
Most of us have some form on Indian or something in us. It's just back in the day people considered two races.
WHite and Black, and if you werent light skin you were considered black. Atleast that's the history I know of in Alabama. and the history my family grew up with.
Even today alot of people don;t acknowledge Mexican/Latino/Hispanics
I think they have it worse than African AMericans.
I honestly agree and disagree with Morgan Freeman when he said Obama is not the first black president, rather the first Mixed raced President, but at the same time he does look black from the normal standards, but also we all are mixed raced in some way...if we all took a test I am sure it would not say
100 percent Negro, 100 Caucasion,
It's unique, but anyone can be correct in how they feel and all be right to a certain degree. I have been reading and they say that by 2040 most people will be black or mixed race and whites will be the minority.
I don't know for sure, but whatever.
