"You do what you like, but you and your identity politics/academic blithering can both go straight to hell. We have every right to be repulsed at the thought of being drenched in acrid liquid excrement, so you can go fuck yourself for bitching at us for disliking it. If you're afraid of putting your thoughts and opinions in an open forum where they're up for criticism and open debate, then RealJock is not for you."
As long as you are OK with the vast majority of straight people and legislators (who make the laws governing your life) "having the right to be repulsed" at....well...our just being gay?
I actually thought he had a point...he expressed it badly (to put it mildly), but he did have a point; the incredible vitriol of the mobbing response to him sort of made his case for him, he was just too obtuse to realize it.
Again, you don't have to be into any of what he is into to have "bona fides" here, but there simply ARE an inordinate amount of profiles where guys describe themselves as "normal" (compared to....??)...."regular" (compared to...??)...well, we must have "someone" in mind when making those comparisons: I think most of those "normal", "regular" guys mean "normal" and "regular" as opposed to our now...disappeared friend. His point was, that the trannies, drag queens, and totally fem fags who fought back against the police that night at Stonewall were THE weirdest people around....at the TIME, they weren't "str8 acting" guys in suits. And without THEM, all you "normal, regular" guys wouldn't be able to come to this site over 40 years later....without getting arrested. That was his "point."
