jerseywoof saidwhat do you mean they killed off all the Quatermaines? I just Tracy when I flipped through the channels the other day

and Edward should have died when the original actor died, I mean sometimes you just need to move on and I never accepted the recast.

I had the chance to meet John Ingle when I interened at GH and he was the nicest man. His dressing room was filled with pictures of his family.

JackKash saidMonica is Alive. Jason, Emily, Alan and Edward Sr are dead. Tracy is alive and getting tons of screentime..and AJ just came back from the dead as the original actor Sean Keenan and has some hot chemistry with Carly. they might go there.

well I have no idea who Emily was and thank god they moved on from Edward. I hated Jason forever. Tracy is the best, best bitch in tv history, remember loving watching her verbal sparring with Alan and Edward 30 years agoicon_eek.gif It wasn't the same when she left later in the 80s for most of that decade

They were sort of forced... I agree they should have Edward Die when the first one did.. however it all worked out because right now the death of Edward is working to revive the Quartermaines..which is desperately needed at this moment.

Funny thing is i didn't like General Hospital.. in fact i LOATHED General Mobspital... hate Sonny and Jason (The show is much better without Jason..and so is the character of Sam)... But i grew up with the show always in my peripheral view..and i most definitely remember the glory days of the late 80's and Robin and Casey the Alien..and the when Lucky as Johnathan Jackson first came to the show with Luke and Laura. I love the show now only because Ron Carlivati and Frank Valentini are bringing the success they had with One Life to Live into a show that was dull and dead and somber.

I'm sadened the One Life to Live Characters who migrated to GH are forced to now leave... but i hope Starr and John McBain can stay.

I used to race home from school in the late 70s to watch GH. I remember so much of that cast like John Stamos and Demi Moore. Loved the Monica and Alan too and Luke and Laura. cotty, yes, I remember , was Lauras BF or Husband? Cute as hell I remember. The friction between him and Luke. Who was Alan or Monica having an affair with? I knew they were estranged..

I thought the Scorpio direction got a bit too weird into the early 80s, but I had the hots for the guy who played Robert Scorpio.

Remember when Laura left, wasn't she reported as kidnapped or something? Some of those characters who were in the background, like Dr. Steve Hardy and nurse Jessie, were actually main players in the 60s. I remember my mother watching GH in the 60s. I remember her telling me the story line of Nurse Jessie in a bitter love triangle with Dr. Hardy and shooting someone. I was shocked lol.

I was reading that in 1978 began the reign of Gloria Monty as Exec Producer to raise sagging ratings and I think that is when a large direction of the show began. I do remember how very popular GH was in the 80s.

anyway, I will definitely look for this as a reunion of sorts. Funny how you can be dragged back after years.

Wow former GH fan here. Stopped watching after Laura was seemingly blown up in that house by Helena. Also got tired of Sonny and Carly. Still nice to hear old cast returning.

These last two weeks have been amazing. I am very proud to be a soap fan. It is great to know that other guys watch this fantastic television show. I started watching a few years ago with the masquerade ball and have been hooked since. Felicia and Mac all the way!

I used to watch All My Children and General Hospital, haven't watched in a few years...but I still think those were the two best soaps.

I have seen Days of our Lives and its boring.

In the break room at work, they watch Y&R and I've seen bits and pieces, its a pretty good show as well!!

GH was great in the 90s, but then it became a mobster infested nightmare.

I hope they go back to the great story lines of 80s and 90s icon_cool.gif
