Leg Day is my favorite day...

    No. for some reason I am deathly afraid of them. I have never been taught how to do them correctly. I watch other people and I am afraid of wrenching my back.

    I love legs day too! I used to dread working out my legs, but I might start putting two legs days in my rotation.

    I do my legs. I want overall balance. If I can't get into the gym much for health or other reasons, I do something that is not so taxing such as chest, back, shoulders. The point is to stay in touch with your body and what it needs.

    I don't like doing legs. I might like doing them more when they get much bigger. Who knows. I work them out well. I am also careful not to overtrain any work out.

    I know what people say about skinny legs and overbuilt upper body. It does look really imbalanced on some guys. I don't mind as much because we are all human. If some guy who had a well built torso and thinner legs had a good heart and soul, cared about me and showed it, and we liked each other, I would be happy.

    I have a love/hate relationship with legs. On one hand I find them burdensome because I like to focus on my upper body. But on the other hand I get a kick out of being able to push 500lbs with that part of my body. It is so amazing to sit there and be able to push 500 lbs.

    bingo! Leg day includes the two largest muscles you have and therefore it drives testosterone production more than anything else you'll do--which btw also helps with upper body growth.

    I see upper body guys at the gym every day. They're just lazy.

    When I was biking and lifting heavy, I had 28 inch thighs (and leg pressed 1400). These days, as an old man, they are around 25 to 26, but, my legs are good. I LIKE doing legs. I LIKE feeling strong.

    I can wear shorts and get away with it.

    2/3 of your lean muscle mass is in your legs.

    To those not in the know, working legs too hard can drop your testosterone to near 0.

    Want a strong heart? Train legs at 45 seconds intervals and watch your heart rate skyrocket.

    :-) The heavy exercise raises your dopamine / endorphins / feel good chems. Your test actually plummets (hate to tell ya'). Watch Nat Geo's "The Science of Steroids" on Netflix for more.

    It does feel good. My boyfriend likes it though because I'm super Dom after a leg workout.

    On the way to the gym, I'm half dreading leg day, but when I stumble home I love it. Nothing like squatting until you feel like you're gonna hurl lol.
