In my experience as I have become more visibly fit I have received more attention.

I think this statement would consistently ring true for anyone. When you talking about being HUGE versus fit, I think preferences definitely come into play, but either state would get more positive attention than the guy with the couch potato build, and why not? If you look fit, your appearance already sends the message to people that you are willing to put in the work required to achieve a goal. How is that not attractive?

Isn't the "muscular=better" equation the reason most of us joined this site?

I don't think everyone is into muscle. But I do think it gets attention. And I think guys into muscle often want other guys with muscle. That was why I worked hard to muscle up anyway.

No, muscles don't always make you more attractive. Ask Carrot Top:

I agree. Muscles will not necessarily make you more attractive, but I do think you do get more immediate attention than most.

A big super muscular guy will obviously get looked at but I don't think people really act on it

Some might even look in disgust if he looks unnaturally and overly muscular

However, I think your face and aura is what makes people wanna approach you
Some big guys may look intimidating and unapproachable

I get hit on all the time in public. Honestly I love it. I've got nice looking arms and abs. In real life situations the muscle is the big lure, the personality and the wisdom is the icing.

So, it has got me a lot of attention. It's all good.

I somehow don't find myself attracted towards men with just too much definition but in general I think gay community is quite crazy about muscle, more the merrier.

To answer the question yes initially i think muscular guys get more attention both positive and negative.

I would say that its interesting to see comments online about certain guys on any old site. Women often cringe and detest guys that gay guys gush over. In short gay men and women find different types 'hot' --- generally speaking

Here in the UK bodybuilders got put on a list of targeted discriminatory hate crime victims along with goths, emos etc

Apparently big guys get shit too, it's not all roses icon_lol.gif

For starters: gas mileage, insurance, low maintenance, reliability. And all the metaphors apply.

But physical fitness and sexual draw go together whether the setting is gay or straight. It's pretty much biologically driven. The cool thing about humans is we can exercise more than lizard brain.

JumpMan_Josh saidI'm certainly no expert on this, but everyone is always looking for something different. I would imagine the ones who are more in shape/athletic get more attention than the ones who aren't though. I know when I was wearing my tight shirt and tight jeans at the bar last Saturday dudes were checking me out. Or maybe it was because I was rocking face at pool (I'm the best pool player ever by the way).

Just remember... to some you can be a person's worst nightmare, and to some you're their greatest fantasy. :-)

    You are correct.

I think the more attractive you are the more attention you get.

Muscles help, a lot. So does a face and preference. In fact, I find that a lot of big top guys love smaller muscle guys with a big ass.

So hot=attention, and that can usually entail more muscles.

Muscle are great for starting the initial attraction and getting someone interested, but but by itself isn't enough long term.
