    I would let a bodybuilder fuck me, but I don't think I would date him....

    Why? I'd be proud to with someone like that out in public. I'd love to show him off.

    "show him off?' I wonder if he would like that?

    Why wouldn't he? Wouldn't he want other people to be proud of the hard work he put into himself? Most bodybuilders become bodybuilders to show off their bodies anyway.

    Adamandadam saidThe more muscle a guy has, the less interesting he is, the less I pay attention. Anyone who looks like they use steroids, I avoid. Anyone who is lumpy is unappealing. If you want to get my interest, you need to be an interesting person, who happens to be in decent or good shape. You can find someone exactly like you, and it won't give you a good relationship. You can have a mutual admiration society, and ego-based platform, but it won't last. Appearances are merely that. Window-dressing. Exercise to be healthy, that's all. Stop following along with superficial idiocy. Stop playing games with your life. It's too short. Exercise your heart and your mind more than your biceps.

    I'm sorry, but this just wreaks of condescension and complete ignorance. Muscles, intelligence and being "interesting" are not mutually exclusive.

    You have your opinion of muscle guys, which is fine, but to equate a muscle guy with being a "less interesting person" speaks volumes about you, not said muscle guy. And, stop using "steroids" as an excuse not to be physically active. Not every "uninteresting" muscle head uses steroids. Claiming that guys use steroids to "look" a certain way is just a convenient way for fat asses to rationalize why they look the way they do and for being too freaking lazy to get off of their fat asses to move.

    I am so sick of this hypocritical attitude that many out of shape guys have towards guys who take care of their bodies (and brains! I don't know many muscular guys that don't have college degrees and great jobs), and I say hypocritical because if you look at their "hot lists," they consist of guys that look nothing like themselves but are lean and, generally, have muscles. It's always unattractive people that claim that real beauty is internal but then seek out those that look nothing like themselves! icon_rolleyes.gif

    This is a fitness site catering to guys who workout, have muscles and who are looking to socialize with other like-minded people. Why the hell join a site and then criticize those very members. I don't go to a Geek, fat ass, World of Warcraft website and then complain about how its members are a bunch of lazy fat asses who smell like moldy cheese and piss.

    I often wonder why so many out of shape guys come here bitching about muscular and slender guys not wanting them, i mean seriously this is a fitness site, yes its a gay site but its geared towards gays that like fitness and physical activities so we can share those in common, As to why these out of shape people flock here is beyond me, isnt that what the site Grommer is for ? If you dont like this site move on to Grommer pls, i'm sure you'll get a great response there

    I think gay men generally like masculine guys, theres a difference between masculine and muscular, that been cleared.
    Im 6"4 and i weight about 79kg, im not perfect but ive worked hard to develop some muscles. This has generally helped with my self confidence, i walk into a place with my head up and shoulders high, i figure i tend to get a lot of attention this days from both men and women.
    So Yes!

    Excuse me? since when was this site just for "fit" guys? You do know this site has great tips on losing weight, as well as gaining muscle right? I think this site is so versatile in what it offers that to say it's only for a specific type of person/build while exile the unwanted, is shallow, and quite frankly more unattractive then a guy who has a few pounds on them.

    Please read the WHOLE comment in CONTEXT before replying. It was NOT about who can use this site or who can't. It was about people coming to a fitness site and THEN complaining about those very members. It's not all that hard to decipher that message, is it?

    You should be more mindful of where you're spreading your simplistic and hypocritical condescension. Nobody here wants to hear complaints against "anyone who is lumpy" from so many chins.

    In my opinion, handsome men get more heads than well-muscled ones. Though being overly-musclular does get you a good amount of attention. I've never been to a gay setting, but that's what I've seen from normal life settings.

    Hardly. A "10" body can compensate for a multitude of "4", "5", "6" ,"7", etc. faces.... icon_wink.gif

    @adamandadam:

    Golly. You sound very resentful. Angry, almost.

    In the name "Real Jock", it's implicit that someone is an athlete. I did not come here in 2006 seeking fat, angry, guys, too lazy to complete a profile. I did not come here seeking adoration from skinny guys. I came here to see, and talk to / at like-minded folks.

    Sure you're in the right place at the right time?

    Claiming to be queer doesn't get you unconditional acceptance. That's not how it works.

    There are numerous benefits to strength training that are well documented. Perhaps you should study.

    There are numerous benefits to cardiac conditioning, as well.

    Any wellness program should address both.

    Most real jocks have an instinctive understanding that anything worth doing is worth doing well. I believe that strongly. Perhaps you should ponder that notion before you bash on jocks.

    Most jocks tend to be very educated and try to train smartly.

    Working out, and perhaps you don't get this (from lack of experience), makes you feel good, look good, and function better...across the board. Likely it's something you would do well to go do now.

    I'm 52. I'm 5'5", 210#. I've been lifting 39 years. I have a degree in computer science. I make six figures. I'm kind and generous, and I mentored a young man who lived with me for 3.5 into a 120K a year job at the age of 23 with only a GED. Can you say the same? I graduated high school in three. I got my AAS in 1.5 years. Not only am I built, I'm bright. Arrogant. Not really. Self aware? Yepper. My bp is 112/78. My psa is a 0.4. I've never had a cholesterol above 150. Should I continue?

    Adam, you're ignorant, and...the thing about ignorant folks is that they don't know they are. I'm telling you today.

    @He_Man

    I yield.

    You can be the "Meany Mentor." LOL.

    Fucking douche bags. I just couldn't let it go as I drink my coffee, and my 1250 calorie weight gainer to go bang on chest and tris, and do HIIT, and get all pretty and shit.

    I blew off shaving my legs for weight gainer, coffee, and Real Jock. LOL.

    In bodybuilding, we call 'em "haters."

    Only way to defeat ignorance is with education, but, lots of times, ignorant folks like being ignorant. Such is The World.

    Nope. The World is not flat. It is not.
