Recovery from kissing/macking

I'm a really big fan of kissing/macking with a guy -- it's just down right fun. I've been told I'm good at it and been fortunate that the guys I've kissed range from good to great on the subject themselves. It's not uncommon for a mack session to go on for an hour (if I'm lucky). Love it!

    That is the great part.

The not so great part is that for the next 2 to 4 days, my face, specifically the skin over my lips/under my nose and under my lips to my chin, is so raw & sore I can't even touch it, much less shave it. I also tend to break out for a few days there too.

Just to be clear -- I don't think this is a case of just being too, um, "vigorous" either -- I've had this happen in the past with a few other guys. So I don't think we need to "lighten" it up or anything.

My face has always been pretty sensitive -- it's difficult to shave more than every other day because my face gets raw and cut up. So I suppose this is to be expected. I've tried slathering the area with vitamin E oil and such and I think it helps a tiny bit, but I'm still facing more than a few days of discomfort after each date.

Anyone have similarly sensitive skin and found any treatment that helps speed up the healing? I'd love to hear any suggestions.

We should all be so lucky. Stop rubbing it in. Literally and figuratively.

As for advice, use more moisturizer -- before, during, and after. Hmmm, do they make lube for the face?

You two might also want to shave before your macking sessions so there's less stubble to cause irritation.

I can relate -- my lips for some odd reason bruise easily, so for days after a heavy makeout session I look like I was smacked in the chopper by, well, CoolArmyDude icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
