Try plain rice cakes! They are light and no fat. Spread PB on them it's great!

Also try melon slices they are good too!icon_biggrin.gif

THAT is the one thing I won't do...

icon_lol.gifNo matter how I try to fool myself, no matter what I put on them, I eat a rice cake and my mouth still screams:

    CARDBOARD!

    "Weight Watcher's Smoothie"

    Jeez, what a crock!

Here's the nutritional breakdown of that:
    ITEM Protein Carbs Fats kCal
    1 banana - 1.3g 27g .4g 105
    1 cup berries blueberries, raw)1.1g 21.5g .5g 84
    1/2 cup skim milk 4.2g 5.9g .2g 43
    1/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt 3.5g 4.7g .1g 34

    TOTALS 10.1g 59.1g 1.2g 266

This thing is a festival of sugar! 89% calories from SUGAR - and that assumes unsweetened raw blueberries. Between the insulin spike and the relative lack of protein, the only thing this will do for you is keep you coming back to Weight Watchers - 'cause you won't lose any weight.

You know, you don't have to necessarily eat breakfast type foods for breakfast. Anything that is going to satisfy your hunger will do nicely. There have been mornings when I'll have a turkey sandwich, or a bowl of soup, or even leftover dinner from the previous night.

    PSBigJoey"Weight Watcher's Smoothie"

    Jeez, what a crock!

If you recall my post, it's known as the Core Energizer Smoothie. Meaning it's mainly carbs with some protein. While the carb to protein ration is a little high, we were talking about options for breakfast, the meal for which this smoothie is meant. Also, there is no added sugar. The sugar is naturally occuring. Since you mention insulin, I can tell you as a diabetic that naturally occuring sugar is processed much more efficiently than added sugar.
