Man, I was in highschool and went to Badlands in DC. Takes me back, but wasn't all that long ago.

Duck, I remember that night at remington's though, that was a good time! Quick learner, too ;)

Zbmw has saved my ass from being stupid before... possibly at Cobalt, now that I think about it.... but this guy took me to get a burger and God knows how long he patiently waited before he let me out of his sight, if I'd kept drinking it would've been a mess.

Wish I could see me walking into a bar for the first time again... I must've been around 140lbs, sorta long hair... probably looked like a kid in a candy store.

And Z, next time I'm in town I'm dragging you to Remington's, count on it!

lol.....Remingtons eh, novmike? You will have to DRAG me.... but I think you're stronger than me so.... we'll see.

chungo44 saidPalikari: Greg you are a dork. You know I know my bars.

As for Trying to live: I would always suggest to try to go to a bar with friends, it just makes things easier, and more comfortable. you dont feel the need to walk up to random people and you will just be more comfortable especially if you do want to walk up to a random person. As for Marcos I have never heard of that place, but just as a suggestion I would avoid the christopher street bars. they tend to skew to an older crowd, and no offense to anyone who does go to them, would probably not be the most comfortable atmosphere for a 21 year old let alone one going out alone. seriously try G lounge. I think you will like it, a very mixed crowd (especially racially as opposed to some other bars). and No I am not a racist or anything of the sort and that statement is not trying to imply aynthing. I actually love G and go there all the time, I just think you might feel most comfortable in a bar that isnt all white guys, there are a lot of complaints that the gay community is not racially diverse and this bar especially tends to have a very mixed crowd.
Thanks a lot. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Have you been to any of those bars during the day? Is it more mellow? Are the drinks cheaper or something?

My first experience: 1977 (yes, I'm old); Grace Jones' 'I Need a Man;' I think it was the Fraternity House in Washington, D.C.; hooked up quickly; wondered 'are we going to kiss?' found out we were going to; got dropped off afterward back at the Frat House.

Sheesh, I had energy at 18. Now my idea of a nice weekend is lots of sleep.

    zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
