I proclaim my love for this album every chance I get, and since it goes with the season I usually put it on at least once a day now.

    Photobucket

It's about the only thing that takes out the horrible generic Christmas music I'm forced to listen to at work.

Just got turned on to ROCK KILLS KID - very cool band. Loving the new PINK (she continues to be underrated as I think she is one of the coolest of all female solo artists) and, actually, and surprisingly, the new Britney CIRCUS CD is growing on me. I think it's chock full of hit singles...favorite tracks so far "If You Seek Amy", "Out From Under", and "Circus"

Tiesto's new album In Search of Sunrise 7: Asia, great for the gym, and although I'm embarrassed to admit it, Katy Perry's Hot N Cold, very fun.

WNYC - New York's fine NPR station. It's always on unless I'm listening to music or watching the tube - or need quiet.

The cd I last had in yesterday, though, was k d lan'gs "hymns of the 49th Parallel", songs by Canadian songwriters - includes Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujiah" - a very evocative album of superior songs.

1965 - Merry Christmas by the Supremes. The original album had 12 songs. Over the last 20 years, another seven songs recorded during those sessions have surfaced. I don't like holiday music, but this one gets played several times each year.
