LOL. I laughed and laughed over this one.
    "Waving."

I don't think anybody likes to be picked up. Again, it can hurt someone who has back problems.

    I'm affectionate, but I don't like to be "man-handled."

Don't mind being "man-handled", not so sure about back breaking hugs though...

    That's what I mean.
I had a friend who was a "bone crusher."
I had to tell him to lay off.

Otherwise, I like to hug and be hugged.

Toffias saidI love hugs!! well in my country, the culture is different. Here a hug is a very natural thing, like a kiss on the cheek, specially between a men and a woman or between women.
I've never hurt someone with a hug, but i know a friend who hurt his grandfather once wile hugging him too hard, and he broke his sternum.....

Hey man! i saw that your a newbie. Welcome to the forums!

Here in the UK two men hugging each other is not the done thing. Therefore I never hug a stranger or a new acquaintance. Over the years I have developed a kind of instinct whether the other guy would accept a hug, and I would then first ask.

A number of people come to me for a hug, not for sexual stimulation, but as a sort of comfort seeking. And I read from a source that hugging is not only psychologically beneficial, but it is good for the health too.

In the right circumstance, hugging is beautiful. I just wish it was more acceptable in our culture.

Hugs are pretty much the best things in the world, depending on what you're hugging. Blankeys, cute babies, bunnies, cats, cute beefy guys..

I like hugs. It's the worst when you're at an event and try to give a hug and the other puts out his/her hand for a shake, then you both switch it up until it's some kind of hug/handshake mess... it's just awkward and it make me want to go home.

Manhandling and man hugs are totally liez! Totally. 95% of them I've had, I've either been thrown in the lake, the Pacific when I was living in California, the river, a pond, or someone's swimming pool. Or they poked my sides.

Now when I know it's not one of THOSE hugs, I'm still pretty reluctant. As long as it doesn't cross those two thresholds or anything remotely similar, I don't mind being picked up either. But 5% is not that many real hugs. icon_eek.gif

    This is a trap, isn't it?icon_eek.gif

I use to be a big fan of hugs. I even did the free hugs campaign a few times, but I'm pretty formal. Today I generally hug people I know and it's usually after we have a moment which is very rare lol

lifeduringwartime23 saidI really really love hugs. It's so personable, awesome, hardcore, and needed for maximum gains in the gym.

I love hugging friends while squeezing and picking them up. My friends always know me as the ''king kong hug'' cause i usually hug hard and pick up a person as i do it. It's a sign of being close, and of being personable with the person.

I can beat a friend of mine at football or wrestling. And just say ''i beat you pretty bad man but here's a hug yo'' and most is forgiven. Sometimes i like to help pop peoples backs as i give them a hug. Or straighten their back out!

Hugs can be useful for so many things you know?

Who likes hugs? how do you give hug? have you hurt someone giving a hug? have they hurt you? did you get married? how did that make you feel?

Me, me, me, me, me, me, me!
