  From what you have described his home (relationship) is already a wreck. I'm not saying sleep with him; I'm saying try to open his eyes. If he leaves the relationship and after a period of grief with you at his side as a friend and confidant, he may realize what a great catch you are and something beautiful will come out of an otherwise ugly experience.

  Thank you for the nice advice! I am taking it slow and allowing him to be an the driver sit, sort of speak! I don't want to be the one making a decision for him thou.
