I may have misunderstood some of Your past comments.
This is an imperfect form of communication.
I seriously doubt You have a " drab, overlooked" existence.
I also miss Rhett TREMEDOUSLY. He was one of the smartest, most talented people on RJ and I admired Him greatly...
I hope all is well with You.
Thanks Cash, and it's okay; I'm an imperfect communicator for this imperfect medium. Yes, I exhibit flashes of genius (mad and otherwise) given certain insights, observations and even humor, but I'm smart enough to know that often my style can come off as obtuse when it's usually quite the opposite. I'm aware of my limitations. As for my life, I can still socially represent when it throws surprising A-list opportunities at me (example: engaging a Prime Minister at a reception my fashion designer ex threw for her) but I have to force myself.
I found Rhett fascinating even as he gushed over his Disney animation cell collection with the enthusiasm of a commemorative doll collector - while looking like end-stage Truman Capote, long before he morphed into a stud and people paid more attention to what he had to say.
