Pazzy you're always so angry lol.

A lot of forumers here are used to writing a lot and expecting very little in return, so take their advice with a grain of salt.

If someone "lol"s a decently-long message from me, it's over. Life's too short to waste on players who aren't really interested.

Those don't bother me, but texts that do irk me are...

    "Hey."

"What r u doing" or even, "What are you doing?"

Just tell me what you want!

Instead of these generic lines, you'd prefer , "wanna fuck" or "looking"? I am sure someone has already complained about those lines too.

Software programming. I'm not a computer nerd, but I want to make websites my career. I'm excited, it's been a long time since I've been in school though... I've heard [my school] is high school 2.0 so I guess I'll be eating lunch with the librarians again haha

It wasn't as bad as it sounds, sometimes we would go hotbox in the parking lot... most people don't even realize that those bitches always have a J somewhere on them, how do you think they're so chill all the time? It's like "uhh hello, i need to check out this book..?" and she's nowhere to be seen because she's hittin a spliff in non-fiction...

    10/19/2014 10:19:50 PM

    Lol

Lol…..LOL??? That’s all he has to fucking say? I know you he was into the ganja, it says 420 cool on his profile so I know he can appreciate a good weed joke, and I just typed out an entire paragraph of completely original COMEDIC GOLD. And all his ass can come up with is LOL? Its not even a fucking word! Its an acronym, something that you say to people online when you have nothing else to say.

Needless to say I never spoke to him again. The right guy would've replied with a joke/anecdote involving the green stuff so it clearly wasn't meant to be. C'est la vie, bye fuckface.

Agreed, you dodged a bullet there! Specifically, a blank.

I rarely take any offense at anything on hook up sites. I mostly use them for mindless entertainment (I rarely watch TV) but I have on occasion met some actual good people with whom I've shared memorable evenings with and even snagged a friend, a boyfriend, or FWB or two.

Although cutsie spellings like kewl, hawt, boi, and the like are a turn off. We aren't middle schoolers.

Also, any conversation started with a personal question warrants an instant block. That just shows me you are crass and have no social skills. Would you walk up to someone at a party and ask if they were a top or bottom before even introducing yourself?

Carrying on a meaningful conversation by texting is difficult. If I feel I am making a connection with someone I will ask if they would like to meet for a drink or coffee sometime. If not, I block and move on. Easy, breezy, Cover Girl.

glowstik saidI have a pet peeve/hangup, it's being replied to with mindless bullshit. Do you think passive aggressive communication is the norm for gay guys?

As a realjocker that had produced a spine how do you respond to mindless junk like
    "Lol"
    "Haha"
    "icon_smile.gif"

    1. Out of principle do you never reply do something like that
    2. Do you try to keep the conversation going
    3. Do you leave it and wait for your mood to change and possibly talk later

Is it really that serious? That like saying I don't like people who laugh, giggle or chuckle.

I'm not sure I understand your question. How are those responses considered passive aggressive? If you say something funny, is the other guy supposed to respond with fully drawn out descriptive sentences?

"That is a funny and clever anecdote. I am laughing out loud. I cannot hold the laughter and am rolling on the floor."

that sounds more passive aggressive than lol

HottJoe saidI never put anyone on ignore or block, but I've had many guys suddenly lose their minds and block me, usually over a misunderstanding, but also sometimes because I don't say what they're looking to hear. I don't take it too personally, but I do think that turning your back on another person and writing them off forever over the tiniest infraction is poisoning the well. Sometimes it's better to forgive people. We're quite a small community to begin with.

Joe I'm going to have to ask you to stop being a level headed good guy. You're raising the curve.

It's not "taking offense", it's simply making the reasonable assumption that the other person is boring or unintelligent. If I'm giving you conversational material to work with, and you're not even making an effort, why would I bother continuing to try?

Lol...loosen up, you probably have OCD: that's not "Lol'er's fault, it's yours. If you want brilliantly stimulating conversation with perfect sentences, you should probably go somewhere where it is a prerequisite in the terms policy....just saying bro.

Damm! Look at all the cool guys that came thru to comment. I'm like this approach for sure

Also thanks to RJ forums I realized that I could move on anytime I ask someone " whem is a good time for you" and I get back "Idk" ... You're done!
