wellwell said...There is a reason why we should not be here . . . ?

It's ok as long as you know there are people here who will find you on facebook and start posting pics of you with your girlfriend and vicious catty little notes about how much they hate her and why can't she find a straight guy because its so hard for gay man as it is with such a small dating pool.

Boys on one side, girls on the other, all desperate and so hard to please.

Poor bi guys. We love you!

The "B" is the most backlashing subgroup in the community. They just are. I'm not saying each and everyone from that group is backlashing, they are in general. For example, my ex was bi and he loved Chik-Fil-A, thought it was appropriate to address others by "fag", former employee of Hobby Lobby, and a proud right wing conservative Republican from Orange County, California.

in your experience, your ex-boyfriend was an example of a backlashing subgroup. Not all of us are. Painting with a generalization brush is a bad move.

Would you prefer that there weren't any bisexuals here on this site at all?

I'm going to stop here about this because it's just not worth my time, or energy.

Heyo HottJoe! nice to see you again icon_biggrin.gif I'm glad your workouts are going well, same to Cash, Buddha and last but not least Radd icon_biggrin.gif

    ^^ Thank you!

Real, true bi guys are great guys, open minded, inviting, and willing to take the time to get to know you.

Self-loathing gay men who call themselves "bi" out of fear, shame, and embarrassment of the "gay" label are the hateful, scornful asshats that ruin feelings and trample emotions.

    Really, we're not all bad.

Isn't that a generalization too? Most if not all bisexuals on this site (David3k and sf_swimmer are a good examples) are homophobes constantly bashing gays and comparing us to women. If bisexuals want respect, they should have manners and stop assuming that just because some men only like men we are less masculine than them.

I made a comment about why bi guys would be more likely to be on a site with the word "jock" in the title ... I did not comment about the masculinity of gay men.icon_rolleyes.gif

    Really ? ?

    sf_swimmer is a homophobe ? ?

There aren't that many bis on this site (hell, hardly anyone at all is on this site anymore), and they're welcome to post here (a lot of guys never post, and just cruise the profiles). I just don't want to be reading posts about the joys of pussy.

I haven't buried any husbands who served in the military, but I'm a card-carrying gay man.

As for there being a lot of switch-hitters here - yeah...so? Statistically there are more of them than us to begin with. Between 1.5 and 5.5 on the Kinsey scale you'll probably find the majority of ALL men.

Plus, ya gotta admit that a site at least theoretically about fitness and sports is a draw for the "straight-acting" (with all that term implies.) If the focus shifted to pop music goddesses and designer underwear the quantity of bi's would drop - big time.
