Physiqueflex saidDemocracyNOW! reported on this story tonight (13 January 2015). Steve Emerson, the "expert" who made the statements about "no go zones" has admitted this was in error and claimed to have been misinformed without having checked his facts. So he fails in at least one aspect of being defined as "expert". The PM of England was quoted as calling him an "idiot".
DemocracyNOW! then examined the phenomenon of paid terrorism experts with a panel including journalist Glenn Greenwald. It's a very interesting take on the subject.
I like Goodman very much. Real smart. And I like also Greenwald of course. The guy puts up with no shit from no one. I like that. If you are not already aware, he's currently cranking up a new platform for news here: https://firstlook.org
I liked especially the following report, if anyone noticed, immediately after the one you show which can be found here http://www.democracynow.org/2015/1/13/glenn_greenwald_with_calls_to_spare?autostart=true&get_clicky_key=suggested_next_story
And what I especially like about that particularly with regard to the bullshit that flies on this forum, is how a guy with a generally liberal bent (in that he's not afraid to attack the establishment, etc.), with a real good critical eye, doesn't hold back a bit on calling out a liberal polititian when he sees that person being full of shit.
This is a big difference between conservatives and real liberals, not the assholes thinking they're getting away with playing close to the net but eventually showing their hand. Listen to him as he calls Feinstein to task when he rightfully found her in the wrong.
A good Democrat won't put up with shit he finds on either side, especially when he finds it on his own. A good Republican regardless of what he finds, sticks his truck up his buddies ass to eat shit as then passes it off as if it was his own.
GOP= Gobs Of Poop
