Difficulty of arranging wrestling matches

  Hi.
  
  Am I the only one who finds wrestling matches hard to arrange because of things like distance?

  It's really difficult. I had a few friends when I was in AZ that I could wrestle.
  There are a couple wrestle sites that make finding your opponent a bit easier.
  
  Living in a large city helps too.

  I can understand why people get flaky. Travelling hundreds or thousands of miles to meet someone you don't really know can be an intimidating experience.

  I've never really never had a bad experience - but if I travel that far it's because I was planning to be there anyway.

  I am struggling to arrange a wrestling match. UK based, looking for others, beginner here. I am gay and do enjoy the idea of playing too

  I've all but given up. Guys are either too big (fat and out of shape) or simply rare or not available (fit guys in my size range). I have a problem finding fit guys nearby in general.
