  Definitely yes. I swam competitively from elementary school to college, so wearing a racing brief is second nature. I even have a permanent “speedo tan line” from wearing them.
  
  Although I’ve worn many brands of team suits, I prefer Arena for comfort and durability.
  
  Btw: My comfort zone doesn’t include true “bikini briefs.” That little bit of missing fabric makes all the difference to me.

  I'm not the most amazing swimmer out there but yes I wear speedos. I do to the beach too. I can't see the attraction of swimming with massive swim trunks on.

  I love swimwear but hate swimming. The last time I swam a lap was about twenty-five years ago. Suntanning is a blast though.

  I played water polo during my undergrad years (I was a driver / point player) and we wore special team Speedos all the time. We lived in them - two practice work outs a day in the season, and then on game days.
  
  I still wear them when I swim laps or play in reunion games during homecoming week. I wouldn’t wear them to beaches though..........

  There is a nude (clothing optional ) Gunnison beach in Highlands NJ and Haulover Beach, Miami-Dade County Florida.
  
  In the west coast , there is blacks beach in San Diego.

  They are usually in hard to get to areas. There is one in San Francsisco, but the water is almost always too cold to go in. I know of one on the Big Island in Hawaii,; also one on Maui. A member here - Barefootlover - periodically posts about going nude swimming in some river in lower Wisconsin - You might send him a PM and ask where he goes. Could be a nice weekend excursion from Chicago. Guys go nude at the very end of the Herring Cove beach in Provincetown,. Member Suckitup has posted about hiking naked and going to beaches - the two probably go hand in hand. Send him a PM if curious.
  
  I Haven't tried, but I would bet if you googled nude beaches/Illinois, you would find websites that would list some.

  I've asked in Chicago before but apparently there's nothing here. I also don't have a car and my work doesn't really give me a chance to take days off so in the 15ish months that I've lived here I only ever managed to get out of Chicago once for an interview... Guess I'll have to go without major nude activities for a while
