    Hello everyone!

I need information and possibly advice.

For people that comes from religious families, was it difficult to come out or accept your sexuality?

Asking because my ex left me because he can't be gay in his culture. He is a Muslim, and is choosing the will of his family and culture instead of his heart.... I love Islam! Excepted for that part...
Any Muslims here that had to face this challenge, and accepted that it was possible do be gay/bi as well as a good muslim at the same time?

I need tips on it. Cause if "God" doesn't make any mistakes, why the hell they don't accept homosexuality? And why did "God" created homosexuality in the first place if he "doesn't tolerate it"? I mean, they say it's because it's the law of nature that only a man with a woman can reproduce, yet homosexuality existe within other species on Earth.

I would love to hear your stories!!!!

    -J.

...in the absence of mitigating reasons and factors...the simplest answer is the right one...

If you think your faith can take the challenge, I recommend YouTube Christopher Hitchens. Perhaps the debate with him and Fry against two Catholics. Not about Islam obviously, but many of the points hold true for all faiths.
If you want to KEEP your faith (and all of the immoral, homophobic hate in the holy books) I'm afraid there may be no easy answer for you.
    Good luck, sincerely.

I'm not Muslim , but don't have any differences ,
a muslim boy use to be my partner for sometime we both loved each other , but ofcourse he also maintained it high secrecy , because of the community fear .
If you come out then your family might face difficulty in your community , so may be you can come out of both family and religion . it's quite harsh decision to take .
    anyway take care Sweet thing
