I am due to have a preliminary session at my local Crossfit in a couple of days time (coinsiding with me stopping smoking).

Would love to hear if anyone is doing it and how they find it.

Had the preliminary session last week and my first real lesson yesterday.

Absolutely love it - thoroughly exhausted with the session and almost every exercise was worked to the point of failure and still exoexted to push a few more out after a tiny rest.

Realising how important it is to have someone force you to complete the last reps and have continual feedback on form.

Im surprised how slow I was in comparison to others in the group who I would look at in the street and think of as unfit but were pushing through with better form and speed than me.

    Humbled, inspired and fucking tired!

Yes, totally dude! Started over 8 months ago and also love it! Was so sick and tired of the same gym routine plus hadn’t had a trainer in awhile. Haven’t done classes yet but have an individual trainer that pushes you to beyond exhaustion. Get ready because it gets much more challenging. Was always fit but could NEVER do a pull up and working toward that now. Can do hand stand push-ups which was sober I never thought could do. About a 3 month process to get from getting myself upside,to balancing upside down to a push-up upside down.

I do a version of crossfit bodyweight program called freeletics, it is great! It can be hard and draining, but I love it and have stuck with it now for years
