"It will probably take lots of federal, state and local policy interventions and regulations to have a big impact."
"The complexity of the problem means that a solution will truly take a village, experts say, with every American doing their part."

I'm pretty sure Hillary wrote this. Villages and regulations are what she's about.
Do your part? Yes - eat less and get off your butt. It's really no more difficult than that.

What a joke. The feds created it with their modified food pyramid that promotes man -made, non-Paleo food.

Airlines charge 50 bucks to bring a checked bag of less than 50lbs . But passengers that weigh 100lbs more than me are not charged more !

I find it somewhat believeable, and it was pointed out on "Supersize Me" years ago, listing the fattest cities in the Uass, most of them were the southern states and maybe three in texas.

ROFL! Good point. We should charge obese people more money. After all, those extra pounds are extra pounds regardless of what form they take.

We have too many obese people in WI. Over indulging in beer and other alcohol doesn't help and all that junk food that people eat every Sunday watching football is bad too. If people would spend more of their Sundays in physical activity themself, instead sitting in their recliners consuming thousands of calories watching football, we wouldn't have a health crisis. I see so many young people that just don't seem to care about their health and their body image and when they get older, they are going to have a ton of health problems. And then they complain why nobody wants to have sex with them.

A Delta spokeswoman says the airline doesn’t have a written policy, but employees can “move the customer to another location that provides additional space, offer a later flight with available seating or allow the customer to purchase an extra seat.”

United says its written policy is that all passengers are required to fit in their seat with seat belts fastened and armrests down and “not encroach upon any adjoining seat.” But the policy says if passengers are unable to meet the requirements, they can purchase an additional seat or upgrade if space is available. Nothing says they have to. Enforcement is left to front-line employees.

“We trust our employees to use their judgment to determine when situations are unsafe, including instances when passengers are unable to fit securely in their seat,” a United spokeswoman says.

Wouldn't it be great if when buying a ticket one of the questions was weight? After all that's how freight works. Granted it's not a big fit man's fault if he is big.
But- aren't progressives all about being fair?
