I was saying teenagers should not act-out in riotous way: no smashing car windshields, no destroying properties.
BUT, these teenagers cannot get their attackers to feel their pain; they cannot inflict the same pain on the other person.

In the case of adult relationships, one can try to nip it in the bud or set up terms of endearment.

Being emotionally, physically, even sexually abused/attacked/wounded is a very difficult thing to deal with. Living with that pain and feeling misunderstood is almost unbearable. It doesn’t make relationships any easier and talking to a psychiatrist doesn’t always help. There’s a lot a bad people in this world and it’s never easy to understand what one has gone through in his/her lifetime. There might be no perfect solution for things like these. All we can do is try to care and show love for others.
