A friend texted us today that he went to Homo Depot. Whole shelves of home improvement stuff were stripped bare! Like supermarket shelves!

He thinks it’s because so many people are idled at home, they're using this free-time to catch up on home projects they want to do. Best use of their time.

Plausible theory - what do you think? How are YOU using this idle time, if not at work?

Hey Art! Palm Springs basically got shut down on Sunday.. I was at a brunch with several friends then gym then went by bars which were literally locking the doors at 4pm. Went home, watched Netflix, looked at internet. Monday I went to my condo property manager and let her know that I was free to shop for anyone in our complex that could not go outside for any reason. Been running back and forth to all the local grocery stores since then. Met some great neighbors and feel a sense of purpose besides hiking, biking and golf. Gay center here in Palm Springs has a food bank on Thursdays and I know the guys who run it so I am heading over with my pickup to see if they need someone to deliver food to homebound seniors or large single parent families.

Yeah, our friends in Palm Springs tell us the same. And now we’re shut down, too!

Great ideas! I just read a story that local food banks/pantries could be hurting during this. And we support our local one, Poverello, that’s specifically for HIV/AIDS clients. I’ll make a point of visiting it tomorrow.

And our condo is largely elderly. I had already intended to visit some of our elderly neighbors (Hell, some are younger than us! YIKES!). So we’re on the same sheet of music. Good for you! Otherwise we’re just idled here doing nothing, what else we gonna do? Waste time on the Internet? LOL!

Or perhaps they are buying up stuff to ward against the zombie takeover...

He can rest assure that no Democrat will be packing over Christmas to move into the WH, come the new year. So Americans are in good hands.

The virus being spread by Democrats, will be contained. And their verbal gonorrhea, hopefully controlled. Ending their fake news, full of alturnitive facts.

I think it is important to help our neighbors if they cant get out. We have a robust food bank here but county limits how many volunteers can be here at one time. I'm healthy and fine so I am buying as much food as I can and delivering it to as many people as I can regardless. Sometimes you just need to respect the local rules but go privateteer. Washing my hands constantly, drop off at doors and call after. Not a government program. Just getting the job done

You are such an incredibly sweet man. I just want to reach out and give you a bear hug.

And, of course, it doesn't hurt that you're sexy AF. icon_twisted.gif

Nothing new there. And contrary to his assertion, polls have shown that it’s US Republicans who have been slow to personally react to this virus. Blindly believing their idol Trump's assurance that this was fake news, a Democratic hoax to harm him.

Making Republicans more likely to contract & spread coronavirus rather than Democrats, the majority of whom believe qualified doctors. Instead of putting unquestioning faith in the quack Dr. Trump as Republicans do, with his faux-medical hunches & feelings about the disease, that change every few days.

This is what happens when you have a very UNstable moron in the White House.

What an idiotic statement. What's frightening is you actually believe it.

That’s really commendable!! Putting compassion at work. We’re doing some similar things. Kindness can always make a difference.
