From a lesbian couple in Illinois, delivered from our local supermarket. We knew them both when they lived here in South Florida, before they relocated. It consists of steak, chicken breasts, cans of tomato sauce for his pasta, cheese, and boxes of fresh whole herbs.

We immediately phoned them. We’re actually kinda mortified, but the thought & kind generosity behind their gift had to be acknowledged & thanked.

Now what to do with it? And how do we reciprocate? We’ve gotta sit down and figure what to do.

He wants to grill the steak tonight. I’d like to give most of it away, but that would give us false credit for their action. And the fresh stuff probably can't be accepted by our local food pantry, that won’t reopen now until tomorrow.

I’d like to give some of the chicken to a widow, on a fixed pension, who lives in our condo. She often gives us some fruit she’s also given by her children. In return we give her things that my guy makes. But we’re getting behind, we need to catch up. Yep, I’m taking some chicken down to her, while it’s still fresh. Then we’ll decide about the rest of it.

I know this virus is bringing out a lot of the ugly & selfish in people. And you already know what baseball caps they wear. But there are other people who have determined to help each other during this crisis.

And that worked out very well. Our condo neighbor loved getting a chicken breast, and I made sure to give credit to our friends who provided it. Honestly explaining that they gave us too much to prepare before it might spoil. She in turn said she was just about to go to OUR door, with a gift of bananas & oranges, that I took. A win-win.

And we’ve decided to send some Omaha Steaks and other goodies from them to our Illinois friends. And we’ll also drop off the tomato sauce cans at our local food pantry, if they’ll take them.

When we called our friends with our thanks they said Publix got the delivery order all screwed up, we shouldn’t have gotten those cans, but rather more of other things that we didn’t get. But as they say, it’s the thought that counts. We were still extremely grateful to have gotten anything.

We have so much compared to many.

The food bank lines here are getting longer and honestly, it's hard
to see so many going without regular meals.
Gifts are nice and regifting is even better.

The guy on the left had probably not eaten a Big Mac all day. Oh the humanity.

This is what makes you so childish and hypocritical. You allow yourself to take jabs at people you don't agree with (conservatives and republicans) yet when someone shits right back on you or makes generalizations about liberals, you cry, whine and call foul.

Were you an only child? You act like a spoiled little brat who derives pleasure from playing your little games.

The last thing you need is more food. icon_rolleyes.gif

Indeed, a bisexual who has only married women, and never ever had a bona fide husband.

With all the Gay Bashing of Minorities here, that our resident bisexual has involved himself in over the past 10 years. Not sure our half brother has the ability to be Homo Emotional.
He's the kind of homophobe who voted for the homophobic Obama, and Hillary who both publicly denounced Homosexual Marriage.
Yes I can see Bob being one of those fat jerks in Florida wearing black socks and sandles, wearing a Trump 4 Prision Cap.

You are absolutely right. A proper homo wouldn't be caught dead wearing black socks with sandals. One should at least have enough sense to wear white socks.

^ Gasp! Is that Fartie doing his weekly grocery run?

Will someone please tell the colonel to change out of his foodie pajamas and to dress more appropriately in public, please.

We all know to well, she does love the attention, and the length one will go to to; too also get it.
It simply oozes, any lack of good breeding.
