Can you think of anything positive about what he said?
Can you offer any tips? Do you follow the Keto diet?
    What do you eat?

I tried it a couple years ago. I was the leanest I ever was. I eventually gravitated toward the Body Opus diet which allowed me two days a week of eating carbs. It was basically Monday through Friday afternoon of eating keto style followed by carb up loading early Friday evening through Sunday. I woul repeat this type of eating every week.

The carbs two days a week help to plump up your muscles and you get super vascular by Sunday. It was a fun way to eat but after a while I got sick of eating every two hours on the weekends. The Body Opus diet has you eating every two hours literally for two days. That means you eat throughout the evening. It gets tiring after a while.

The pic below is of me following the diet I just outlined above. I was 208lb and the leanest ever at that weight:

Congratulations you look amazing there. I know I can go through various diet moods and cycles.
I currently do a combination of Palao, Keto and the Mediterranean-vegetable based diet. I've been ultra
ripped too and I like it, but you really have to be strict with working out and a hardcore diet. I will lean up
again with my tropical work out and diet here in the next few months.
    Aloha

This sounds like another one of those hard to follow fad diets that will make you crabby and miserable. Increasing fat intake to 50% of your diet sounds very risky. I have mild depression and anxiety issues so this KETO diet could most likely exacerbate my problems. In addition I might have sleep apnea because I have been feeling worn out and sleepy. I just cannot get energized for some unknown reason.

P.S. It would probably help your mood swings. Have you been tested for prediabetes?
Depression can be a food thing!!!

    +1

I went very low carb for my hypoglycemia, and it's like taking a psych drug with no side-effects. Anxiety is less, and moods are smoother. Added benefit: at 58, I'm back to spanking one out every morning like a teenager because my libido is through the roof. For me, keto/carnivore has been nothing short of miraculous. I wish I'd completely ditched the carbs decades ago.
