That includes Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors. Short-term vacation rentals, Airbnbs in Broward are banned/closed effective Monday 6/20/20, unless there is an on site owner or manager. I believe guest houses are still operating. Phone first, especially if you had reservations.

We do have reservations for October in Key West, Monroe County, but that is looking increasingly unlikely. Even if our gay guest house is open there’ll be little in KW to do, with so much now closed or limited.

I'm sure there will be thousands of disappointed heathen locals in Key West once they hear that you won't be visiting them and staying at your no doubt amply appointed suite at the GAY guest house.

All of the STVR have been banned in Hawaii since March. Many owners are going to go bankrupt.
I live in an area that has quite a few. Oh well, sell to people who want to live in them!

Actually there are indeed a fair number of locals we know, but you must explain why you call them heathens. BTW, one of them is an RJ member. I mention this men-only guest house being gay in case some guys here are interested in one.

Especially since there are barely 3 left in KW, when once there were over a dozen. But I prefer them to cookie-cutter hotel chain places (might as well be back in Ohio along I-80), plus this one is clothing optional.

As for our suite, it’s not bad. Has a fully equipped residential kitchen, a huge veranda overlooking Duval Street (the same place where drag queen Sushi does her New Year’s Eve midnight drop in a giant red high heel, covered by CNN), and a rear suite entrance that opens directly into a fair-sized gym. It’s actually a duplex with 2 bedrooms, and a friend may be coming along and stay in the upstairs one.

On past trips my guy's made a champagne breakfast (with a lovely quiche among other things, plus eggs to order). The management sets up a banquet table for us overlooking Duval, where local friends join us, including this hotel’s owner and his partner.

But far from luxurious, actually very plain & old. In a style I call 'Key West Ramshackle'. Which we prefer, recalling the authentic Key West, when some of these repurposed guest houses were built from the wood of wrecked sailing ships, salvaging being a major KW enterprise in the 1800s, almost a century before tourism.

No... you mention it because you are bi-sexual and desperately want to be accepted as gay, which you are not. You have been married to a woman (twice) and fathered multiple children as a result of those heterosexual marriages.

Rather, I think it’s you trolls here who aren’t gay, but straight. Doing what you can to disrupt & demoralize a gay site. And beyond that, to undermine our entire US democracy and system. Your pattern makes that obvious.

There you go again with the name calling and the "T" word, as if that word has any meaning left anymore (it doesn't).

Haven't you noticed that YOU are the only one on here that posts that he goes to GAY restaurants, GAY clubs, GAY bars and, I've probably missed it, but a GAY gas station? Nobody else here feels the need to constantly provide such information in an attempt to validate that they are gay.

And YOU are the only person on here who has been married to women (twice) and has fathered mutliple children with those women. You are clearly bi-sexual, yet you try to pass yourself off as gay.

Not sure what the "entire US democracy and system" has to do with anything in this topic.

So you would like to become true. Like Trump lying so much that his lies no longer shock or offend as they once would have with any government official, more so the President.

And as usual you try to derail a thread that might be of interest and use to gay guys here. Making it a referendum on me, instead, with irrelevant personal attacks. That part of your pattern is also predictable. No, you’ve earned the title “troll”, so don’t underrate yourself.

BTW, one of our friends offers Airbnb lodging. Because it’s part of his own house, where he lives on-site full time, he avoids the current vacation rentals ban that has just been imposed. In fact, he has 3 guys from Virginia staying there right now.

Bad weather today, poor guys, but at least yesterday they got some pool time, and went to the beach, too. Tomorrow (Sunday) may be better. Beautiful place, right on the river.

Only YOU could turn a topic about vacation rentals into a rant against President Trump. And you did.
