For some people, the impact of lockdowns and self-isolation on mental health may be worse than the effects of catching the virus.

UK sees depression rates nearly double amid lockdown

Nearly twice as many people were showing depression symptoms at the height of the UK lockdown compared to the pre-pandemic numbers. Young people were hit the hardest, official data shows.

I'm living though Stage Four Lockdown. Must wear a mask while out in public, unless working out.
    Walking isn't classed as exercise.
One needs a permit to travel for essential service employment.
Allowing us to travel outside of the 5 km restriction.
An eight PM to Five AM Curfew.
One can not be outside their property during this time of Curfew; unless to travel to work, that must be an essential service.
One can be out an hour a day for exercise, but not outside your 5km zone.

My husband and I, are doing okay with all of this. We are in more than not at 8 PM. We can still shop, just not together, one person per household can shop; and only once a day. So we are getting all the supplies we need.
Home for us, is also a nice place to be, for us.

In many ways things still seem relatively normal, eventhough they aren't. I'm also sure having achieved a 30+ year SSR together, has been a good preparation, for such a unique situation in our lives. I'm sure others haven't been so lucky.

But we no complain, my husband and I.

I wouldn't be surprised. The lunacy on RJ has really gone through the roof as of late.
