Poor Jack Dorsey. That's nearly half of his own net worth!

I wonder if the Twitter's plummeting stock will continue to worsen.

I never really cared for twitter to begin with.

I just deleted my account. I never really saw the allure to using twatter. But now that social media is taking steps to eliminate conservative voices I'm finding I don't want to support them in any way, shape or form.

All the violence I see promoted on social media so long as it's against Trump, capitalism and conservatives can be found in unlimited supply everywhere you turn.

I deleted my Facebook about a year or two ago. I don't miss that either.

You know Jock on an interesting side note....what if the platforms were owned by conservatives?
In an odd twist and reversed things like gays, porn and the arts etc would/could be deleted or banned too!!
No one can seem to just ignore anyone nowadays and everyone is all up in everyones business!!
When I made the attempt years ago to join face book they deleted my profile....why? ...because
my pubic-hair & ripped abs seemed a little to much for the diaper changing Facebook platform[@ that point in time] LOL
So I Never bothered to do another personal facecrap!!! Same with YouTube, they banned me too when I promoted my strip dances.....
Now look at the hypocrites....madonnas tits and Jlo’s ass everywhere!! All good, I made money the
    old fashioned way!!!

    And again....more irony

Trump today said he "predicted" this crackdown by Big Tech. I'm glad he predicted it. So did everyone else. Now why didn't he or any other Republican actually do a single damned thing about it?

You make a great point. Maybe at some point the pendulum won't swing either liberal or conservative and hopefully we'll all grow to a point of being more tolerant of one another. Who knows? I, personally, don't think that will ever happen. At least not any time soon. It seems like people want power so that they can control others and what other people do.

Trump did as much as he could do by executive order. He is only one man. Without the Congress behind him there isn't much he could do. He vetoed the bill because it didn't include the provision about social media and they voted to override him. Republicans are weak. McConnell has to go

Facebook tumbled 4% on Monday and another 2.2% on Tuesday as shareholders dumped the stock, likely fearing the ban could drive users off the platform. By the time markets closed on Tuesday, Facebook's market cap sat $47.6 billion below its Friday level.

Twitter plunged 6.4% to start the week and dipped another 2.4% as the sell-off continued into Tuesday's close. The declines saw Twitter's market cap drop by $3.5 billion.
