I must say, I just couldn't believe it.
Glad McCarthy is against the idea Really have appreciated the response by Rep Adam Kinzinger (R) Illinois
David Duke is certainly smiling this day.

And of course Marjorie Taylor Greene right in the middle. This will be an interesting one to watch play out.

We already know the cultists, but I like the "fissure" angle. One more crack.

It doesn't get more irrelevant than the swampy establishment creature Bill Kristol. The dying breed is the Adam Kinzinger's, Liz Cheney's and Kevin McCarthy's of the party -- they just don't get that yet.

Hard-right Republicans forming new caucus to protect 'Anglo-Saxon political traditions'

A group of ultraconservative House Republicans, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., are discussing launching an "America First Caucus" that would protect "Anglo-Saxon political traditions."

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, told reporters Friday that he's "looking at" joining.

"There is an America First Caucus," he said, confirming that Greene is involved.

The formation of a caucus could be another sign of an emboldened faction of House Republicans who are known for nativist ideas and have been criticized by Democrats as racist.

A seven-page organizing document that includes the group's name and a logo, first reported by Punchbowl News, says: "America is a nation with a border, and a culture, strengthened by a common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions."

It adds that "societal trust and political unity are threatened when foreign citizens are imported en-masse into a country, particularly without institutional support for assimilation and an expansive welfare state to bail them out should they fail to contribute positively to the country."

The document also backs infrastructure projects — a topic currently being debated in Congress — as long as they befit "the progeny of European architecture, whereby public infrastructure must be utilitarian as well as stunningly, classically beautiful, befitting a world power and source of freedom."

Greene's spokesman Nick Dyer confirmed that a platform is being written but complained about "dirty backstabbing swamp creatures" who leaked the document, and did not confirm or deny its authenticity.

"Be on the look out for the release of the America First Caucus platform when it’s announced to the public very soon," he said.

"If we let our country go without taking care of America and making sure we're viable for the future, then we're not going to be in a position to help the other countries."

The term "America First" was used as a campaign slogan by Twice Impeached Low Life Racist Scum Donald Trump, but received criticism because it was also used during World War II by those who opposed intervention in Europe to help stop German advances, even amid reports that Nazis were committing genocide against Jewish people.

Greene has advocated for extreme positions and dangerous conspiracy theories, including the QAnon conspiracy movement. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has condemned her for spreading "loony lies" and the Democratic-controlled House removed her from committees in February.

Punchbowl News reported that Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., is also involved with the group. His office didn't return a request for comment.

Rep. Barry Moore, R-Ala., was reported as a potential recruit.

His office said Moore "will not agree to join any caucus until he’s had an opportunity to research their platform, which he has not had the chance to do so with the America First Caucus and therefore has not joined."

The development received immediate pushback Friday, including from Rep. Dean Phillips, D-Minn., who encouraged people to ignore the caucus at risk of amplifying their message.
Don’t say the names of the people joining the “America First Caucus”. Don’t amplify their hate and ignorance. Don’t share their propaganda and enhance their fundraising. They are as relevant or irrelevant as WE make them. Ignorance isn’t bliss, but it’s better than amplification.

If they're going to call it the "America First" caucus, and NOT invite the Native American representatives to join (which i'm fairly confident they will NOT) then we all know what this is for real...

An echo chamber. A little meeting of closed-minded little people to talk about their closed-minded little things without having to be questioned by anyone or be answerable to anyone with a mind more open than theirs.

    Sad.

This Greene woman should be in a mental hospital as far as I concerned.

The cultists that follow this sort of thing are in for a rude awakening.

Although the America First Caucus claims it places an emphasis on "common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions," Kinzinger argues otherwise. The Illinois lawmaker insists the caucus is nothing more than a white supremacy caucus.
"Just when I was hoping to take a long weekend away from crazy I see this," Kinzinger tweeted. "Completely disgusted."

Kinzinger also said that he believes lawmakers who opt to join the caucus should suffer a number of consequences including being stripped of their Congressional duties and expelled from participating in the Republican conference.

He added, "I believe anyone that joins this caucus should have their committees stripped, and the Republican conference should expel them from conference participation. While we can't prevent someone from calling themselves Republican, we can loudly say they don't belong to us."

Not only should that Greene dingbat from Georgia be committed into a psychiatric ward but also that thing from Colorado should be locked up along with her whacky husband. Both these right wing hos are a toxic cancer on the US Congress. The thing that bothers me is where do they find these lunatics who end up getting elected. It just boggles the mind.
