Gay? Or just overly friendly?

So I met this guy at the bar last night. He's in town to work at the nuke plant and hes only here for a couple weeks.

He kept standing really close to me, like constantly in physical contact. He bought me a bunch of drinks, blah blah blah....

anyways, when the bar closed he asked what I was doing and he ended up coming over. After an entire night of me thinking this guy was, you know, into me, he started talking about girls. What the hell? So anyways he just passed out on my bed in like .2 seconds, and I did shortly after. I'm just confused.

Do you think he wanted something and changed his mind last minute? Or was he just looking for someone to hang out with?

I'm not really the hookup type (normally) so I didn't try to make a move, maybe thats what he was waiting for?

Any of those scenarios could be the correct one; it's often very difficult to know what you're dealing with. That's one reason why, when I was single, I favored gay bars: I could be pretty much guaranteed that the other guys who were there by themselves were either gay, or else wanted a gay experience.

And I had no hesitation giving it to them, provided they were my type. That way a good part of your own dilemma is eliminated: is he gay, and what does he want? Then the only issue becomes is he in the mood, and do you fit the bill for him? Life is simpler when you can reduce the variables.
